You mention several times the value of hit and expertise to cats... this is a little misleading. We do a tremendous amount of our damage from yellow attacks, and get most of the energy refunded when we happen to miss a yellow attack.
This isn't to day that hit/expertise aren't both nice DPS increases, just that a cat could do exceptionally well ignoring both in place of say, strength.
As a last note, your article is pretty good but fails to drive home a key point to beginning cats. Strength > Agility (by quite a bit!). Alot of players are still getting used to this idea, and I feel it should be driven home as much as possible.
Nov 5th 2008 11:17AM Dual spec = nerf??
What could you possibly mean?
Granted, I would rather have more than two, considering as a feral I'd love to switch between CatRaidDPS, CatPvP, BearRaidTank (to say nothing of popping into other trees).
But nerf? Explain?
Sep 26th 2008 10:44AM I wanted to see how healers would feel about this:
If at the beginning of a run, someone handed you a stack of healing buff food, a stack of water, and a couple of mana pots, and explained that in the event of a wipe it would be useful for them to afk to mitigate girlfriend aggro (changing laundry, tossing dishes in the sink, whatever), would you be cool with that?
Inquiring minds want to know.
