Sep 18th 2009 10:01AM Oh yes let's bring back ALL that trash from the good old days. Trash like "One-Shot the Robot" that decided to randomly own people on the way to the Council in BT.
Or let's bring back those Murloc Packs leading to Tidewalker in SSC. It was great having them all clip together and trying to mark the kill order. Even more fun was having to spam sheep on the warriors so they wouldn't enrage and run off toward a healer. = /
How about the trash leading right up to Kael's room? It had the great mob which started to constantly whirlwind and throw out arcane bolts. I remember having to throw out sheep multiple times because some melee decided that sheeps r fun to hit.
How about Hyjal? Maybe Icecrown can have waves of trash that come at you and if you happen to wipe on the boss you get to do the waves all. over. again. Sign me up!
Some trash is good, and it does add flavor to the instance. Too much trash though is just soul-crushing. I happen to think that Ulduar got it right with regard to the amount of trash.
Jul 31st 2009 10:05AM In the Chinese version instead of the Court of Bones area in Icecrown it's the Court of 'Hail the Glorious Leader'. Or perhaps the Court of Sunshine and Lollipops?
May 31st 2009 6:08PM Is there a mod like this that would track tabards? Or track mini-pets?
The tabard mod would be helpful to me currently because for the life of me I can't remember where I had bought tabards, nor which ones I've collected and I would really like to finish off the 25 tabards acheivement.
May 12th 2009 12:00AM Disclaimer: The Following Is Sarcasm
"The Spark of Imagination: Characters that release in part of the boss room will no longer be ported to Westfall or The Barrens. "
Man these Ulduar nerfs are soooooo outrageous! Back when I wiped on Mimiron we took that random port on the chin and liked it! You casuals/bads/mouth breathers are just RUINING this place!
/end sarcasm =D
Apr 10th 2009 2:50PM I truly hope that 3.2 contains a raid (please though don't let it be trolls). I too have felt that though this expansion is well done with what we have, it just doesn't seem as large content-wise as TBC (this is just my opinion though, I'm sure others can and will disagree).
For 3.2 I would LOVE to see them open up the Nerubian Empire underneath Northrend as one zone in and of itself with hopefully a new five man, and a new raid which takes us right to the steps of Icecrown. Much like The Isle was done back in TBC.
I can see at least 3 possible points of entry into the new zone. 1. Under the World Tree in Grizzly Hills, 2. In the Azjol-Nerub instance itself (there is a path leading off in that instance which would be the perfect place for a door), and 3. Under Icecrown Citadel where you fall forever to get to those quests. =D
Didn't Everquest start to falter when they started releasing new expansions too quickly? Let's have some more LK content please before we start talking about plunging into the depths of the Maelstrom, or braving the nightmare of the Emerald Dream.
/just my 2 cents
Apr 10th 2009 9:23AM Hmmm probably a draw.
Svala's horrible nails on a chalk-board voice acting would cut deeply into what is left of Tharon'ja's soul causing him to shatter.
At the same time Tharon'ja screams out his ridiculous lines about "being eternal" and "NOOOOOOOOO a taste! All too brief". The absolute over-the-top nature of his voice acting penetrates Svala's brain and resonates rapidly eventually causing her head to explode.
Mar 27th 2009 9:50AM The best MOB sounds in the game will come when we fight undead-headless Kael'Thas in Icecrown. "Dying twice and losing my head was merely a setback!"
My personal favorite mob sound in the game has to be Teron Gorefiend. YOU WILL SHOW THE PROPER RESPECT! =D
Mar 19th 2009 4:55PM I cast my vote for IC.
Simple reason being that the parameters of the fight call for the timed event to be running.
Gortok and friends need to make it through all of the waves, 3 bosses, and even more trash just to get to IC to fight him.
On top of that, if Gortok engages the IC while short on time IC just automatically runs into his portal and leaves.
I don't think Gortok and friends can handle this one. = /
Feb 27th 2009 12:24AM You guys advocating removal of the drakes are right, it IS just a bunch of pixels.
However, I'm extremely confused as to why it is such a big deal that others could get those old proto-drakes later (if it's just a bunch of pixels to you guys).
New proto-drakes are coming out and the raiding elite can work towards those. If others get the drakes out currently... what's the big deal?
I would love to have the plagued or the black proto drakes. Unfortunately... the lag boss is the hardest boss in the game. The random "bug" occurring on a boss comes in a very close second. = /
