Mar 10th 2011 11:11AM The game is not defined by sexuality. Just because some people choose to define themselves by their sexuality doesn't mean that a video game that is looking to be acceptable to a large audience (including children) should have dialog that would indicate what the NPCs want to have sex with.
Feb 25th 2011 10:47AM IMHO Robin's take on this is exactly what is causing a lot of behavior issues with kids today. No one wants to make them feel bad when they NEED to feel very bad about what they did. Stealing and cheating is wrong in our society and I can't think of one off hand where it is allowed as a matter of course.
There is no need to feel bad about telling this kid what he did was wrong because you feel it’s the parents job. When this little kid steals in real life, the judge isn't going to wait for the parents to teach him right from wrong. A stranger is going to teach him his lesson and he could end up in jail. If you are the one who is being scammed you have a right to tell that person what he did was wrong. You don’t have to wait for the parents.
This child was actively trying to scam people. He was engaging in stealing and thinking up ways at 11 years old how to cheat people. If he is doing this in game how long do you think it is before he starts thinking about nice things he could get for free in real life?
So what remoseful did might have actually really helped this child get off that path early if you actually made him feel bad about what he did. He won't want to feel that way again. Bad feelings can be constructive.
Feb 22nd 2011 2:12PM I think blizzard was going to implement that spell but now that you have posted here they will have to come up with something else.
Jan 5th 2011 9:46AM As a healer I can tell you, I love blood worms and i hope there are not to many DKs out there thinking otherwise.
Jan 5th 2011 9:33AM The solution seems obvious to me. If you queue as a tank or healer and then you requeue before the instance is completed, you are automatically requeued as a tank or healer.
Or you could make it so that if they stay a tank when they requeue then they are put at the head of the queue, but if they change to something else then they get a messege that they will be put at the end of the queue.
Dec 22nd 2010 10:27AM I thought I could not be hacked, i played for years without a problem. I never went to a phishing site, never gave my password to anyone and couldn't find any keyloggers on my system. I still got hacked and couldn't believe it.
What I didn't consider was I used the same password for all my guild's website, curse account and e-mail. There were several reports of guild websites being hacked and all they had to do was try my registered e-mail and password I used for those WoW sites and got into my account.
I now have an authenticator, use a different e-mail account for my battle.net account and a dedicated password.
May 20th 2010 2:26PM Wildthings, your a perfect example of what this video is about. People who think that getting loot is hard and you need to be in awe of it and people should stand up and salute you for having it. These people tend to think having these awesome digital loots will someone make them feel fullfilled in real life.
The axe is time consuming to make, its not hard to make. Getting a PHD is hard, raiding everynight and spending all your time in a video game is not. Thus the video is making fun of you, prolly why you dont like it.
May 17th 2010 2:38PM This article is great. It really brings to light this aweful scam of expecting hunters to tell the difference between 1 and 1000. You really can't expect hunters to be able to take the time to check what they are actually buying. I mean they are hunters, not schooled mages.
May 1st 2010 12:09AM QQ QQ QQ is all i read in this article. I want an "interesting" rotation. Sorry, the game is not interesting because of the order in which you press you keys. What makes it interesting is being in a raid, learning an encounter and playing with friends. You guys act like somehow changing the way you press your keyboard will make casting spells more interesting. it wont.
I also find it funny you say fire mages have a simple rotation except for the fact it changes constantly depending on hot streak procs. You never are going to be doing 1 22 3, 1 22 3 it just doesnt work that way. Arcane mages would be much closer to balance druids.
I am betting if they actually gave you this overly complicated rotation that you are begging for, for god knows what reason, you would all be in here crying about how unfair it is and it doesn't work in the current raiding enviorment or some other crap.
Mar 22nd 2010 1:34PM "Further, if a paladin were able to dps as good as a rogue and heal at the same time, then why would anyone play a rogue? The answer is they wouldn't. However because of the hybrid tax, people do play rogues."
But Paladins cant dps and heal just as good at the same time. You can only have one spec active at a time. If suddenly tomorrow Paladins could do 1200 more dps when specced ret and be on the same level as rogues, guess what, people would still play rogues.
People who enjoy playing Paladins will still play them because they like how the class works. People who enjoy being in stealth and having lots of stuns and escapes would still play rogues. You make it sound like suddenly all people playing their rogues, mages, warlocks and hunters would stop because someone could do equal dps as them.
