Jan 9th 2012 12:13PM The art-style of World of Warcraft is one of its greatest strengths. It's a pretty unique style and it allowed Blizzard to put out a very pretty game (for the time) without requiring a lot of processing power.

They need to clean everything up a bit, not just the old character models.

2012 Predictions for Blizzard: Social features, pandas, and summertime {WoW}

Jan 6th 2012 2:14PM Blizzard really needs to do all of this and more to stay relevant. Blizzard has never seen this kind of competition. They are certainly still the king of the hill, but the mobs of competitors are inching perilously closer to the top to really challenge them.

The announcement of Mists of Pandaria was so polarizing and it will be interesting to see how that XPac sells. So many people are so angry, but are they angry enough to not buy MoP? That is the question that remains to be answered.

Also, MoP needs to come out by the end of Q2, 2012. You cannot sit on Patch 4.3 for any longer than 6 months with all the competition that is coming down the pipe. Blizzard is going to be under more pressure than every to pump out a WoW XPac every 12-18 months.
