Raid Rx: 7 pet peeves of healers {WoW}

Jan 21st 2011 10:04AM THIS! All the above are peeves are valid, but the others in the group not eating is the only one that really gets me.

Breakfast Topic: Elementals vs. Zombies -- which event was better? {WoW}

Dec 6th 2010 9:05AM While the zombie invasion was more obnoxious, it also was more fun, in my opinion. There are just so many things from that event that I will always remember: being able to kill your friends, the ziggurats all over the world, and, best of all, the fight between Thrall and Garrosh.

Elemental invasion was just annoying because it was so buggy and after a few days people stopped trying on both servers I play on so the cities were shut down for far longer than they should have been.

Win a 10-Man Raid eyeshadow set from Geek Chic Cosmetics! {WoW}

Aug 17th 2010 3:56PM Totally in for this!

All the World's a Stage: Getting too attached to a character {WoW}

Apr 25th 2010 2:20PM Having been RPing for close to a decade in various mediums, I can say that this is a common issue. I'm going to assume that the letter was from a female player, as it seems that ERP rarely comes up and gets obsessed over between players of the same sex IRL (unless, of course one or both is homosexual).

I've been in the situation far too many times where my character will hit it off with another and after a while things progress to where they're talking about a relationship or more. In nearly every case the guy had become attached to the idea because the line between IC and OOc had become blurred on their end. I've heard of other women having getting attached as well, just to get that out there.

the best thing to do it to just put your foot down and tell them OOCly that you, as a player, are not comfortable with the way things are headed. Set ground rules and stick to them.

If they still don't let up then stop RPing with them.

If you want to reroll your character then do so. It's your character.

Breakfast Topic: The all nighter {WoW}

Mar 31st 2010 2:31AM I've had several all nighters and most, if not all, of them involve me a friend being idiots.

The most recent was me and a RL friend deciding that the allies we had rolled to see that part of the game before Cata were going to honor all the Azeroth elders. They were lvl 20.

Cue 9+ hours of us corpse running through every zone and cursing and laughing like maniacs over skype.

Spiritual Guidance: Benediction {WoW}

Mar 29th 2010 3:38AM I did this at 70 and I agree, the quest chain is just One Of Those Quests. The very last part was heartbreaking and easily my favorite quest in the entire game.

All the World's a Stage: Your character soundtrack {WoW}

Feb 1st 2010 1:36PM Almost all of my characters have at least a theme song, many a few songs I consider to relate to them. It helps to load them up in winamp when I'm RPing them or writing out a fic.

Lock: "Sleep" by Conjure One
Pally: "Forever Lost" by Conjure One
Priest: "Monster" by Lady Gaga (It's more of a joke until I find the right song)

Massively's Guild Wars costume set giveaway {Massively}

Dec 22nd 2009 8:12PM Oh, I'd love the Dwayna costume! It'd be perfect for my monk

Dungeon Finder tricks and tips {WoW}

Dec 12th 2009 4:59PM So far I've had a decent experience with the new LFG. I'm leveling via RAF with a RL friend (she is learning to tank and I'm healing) and we've tended to do more instancing than questing since the patch hit. I'd love to know if there's a way for a pair of low-mid 40's to NOT do Mara every freaking time though.
