May 30th 2010 6:16AM A lot of you people will not be happy until the game plays itself for you while you watch a movie... really ...thats what it is coming too. Even add ons can go too far. There just seems to be no challenge left imo..it pretty much plays itself now.
May 8th 2010 11:07AM I miss that all mobs ie: Furlbogs outside Astrana'ar all had elite bosses that pretty much forced you to group up. Miss: No flight paths running and getting mixed with mobs was half the fun. PvP at every turn, and the fact that in the very beginning you be killed by anything everything aggro'd and I mean everything! Has any of you say rolled a level one NE lately? You can walk through that spider cave without a worry. Nothing outside of it even sniffs you anymore. Blizz?, nice to make it new person friendly but I really think a new person would really like somewhat of a challenge. I mean nothing aggro's I hear its the same for ALL starting areas.
Apr 27th 2010 1:21PM Epic and feeling of accomplishment went the way of the dodo with TBC. Karazhan was epic in ways. Some Sunwell stuff was epic, Kil'Jaeden being a definite one. Epic was and still is (to a almost 6 year player) : MC, Naxx the EPL version, BwL, and maybe SwP, some of TK the Eye for example. But epic and accomplishment went to the GY long ago. Getting Kingslayer is at best a solid "meh"... Bosses that are supposed to be Epic just don't feel that way anymore. Even Paragon members (the first world Lich 25) are now found of trade chat "meh"... go figure. http://www.wow.com/2010/02/04/paragon-scores-world-first-legitimate-25-man-lich-king-kill/ go figure. At any rate its still a fun game! Keep up the good work Blizz!
Mar 23rd 2010 1:01PM It has always saddened me that Blizz completely made up a race , yes I speak of space goats here. Completely made them up for no better reason than even teams so to speak. Yes I have played since the general release, played WC3 and Frozen Throne, Orcs and Humans all before that. I prefer the old story. I am a Alliance player. Really TBC was sad just maybe and in spite of this one 'change'. The alliance could handle the horde without a made up race. Although now some of my best raid partners are space squids and all is well. Looking forward to Cata. I wish we could see Azahara this time round but I hear thats not in this one? Yet we are out there near the Maelstrom. Go figure.
Mar 9th 2010 2:13PM Short answer: I love these guys ever since I seen them use flasks of petrifying something in Ironforge to kill it all. Five of them I believe. I would change factions and transfer to Mally just to join these guys. But with a guild of over 2000 and a good 500 of them level 80 I dont think they need me. Good job guys.
Mar 9th 2010 1:37PM Having played Aion from the first Closed Beta to general release and then growing bored with the omg they lied syndrome I left it. I actually had a 50. I hated grinding to level. It seems the devs here were less than imaginative in creating quest lines for certain level brackets. And whoever said it Aion is in fact NOT hard core PvP. L2 was , hate to say it but WoW arenas are more hardcore than this. I gave up on this piece of crap because (a) Being the only 50 was not fun, (b) After 50 and a Dred there is nothing really to do... the end game has absolutely no staying power or imagination for that matter and (c) Bots millions of bots even to this day. Aion and Aion west will in fact have to do a lot to gain back my $15 and that of most my Legion. Yes I can still be found lurking the Aion Source forums Yustiel if you like to try and find me. If Ayase and Aion in general were honest they in fact would not have lost 3/4 of the closed beta playing audience. They lost it cause what they told us all through the closed beta process did not come true. As it stands it looks great, game play is somewhat suspect and lacks any real imagination in quests, in end game and PvP. If you still think this is the game to end all others then you have some harsh mental issues.
Feb 2nd 2010 12:30PM Vagrant Shard how about this? ... Yea they are not that hard so what? You really should get out of your momma's basement get a job and stop making her pay for your WoW addiction. You also should try getting some nutrition that does not involve crinkle paper and the word 'chip'. Also in order might be some fresh air, yet that will come with your getting out of that chair and out into a job. I know I know your one of the very few players actually spawned in purples , never died in instance or the world, and omg yes even the Lich King himself should bow down before your cartoon leetness and worship. Really its people like you that make the GAME a negative experience for all you encounter. Why? Because you actually believe what you do in a cartoon game has some meaning and gains some respect in the real world. Really grab a brain and realize that not everyone can play and raid 24/7 because their mommy pays for it. OK? Most people playing this game have in fact jobs, lives and pay their own bills. Which is as I suspect something you dont. Yea I said it.
Jan 28th 2010 11:54AM Too bad the quorum in Cali is considering a nerf to SP's ... prolly become reality due to the QQ's from arena rated pure DPS. QQ from arena and you get what you want.
Jan 26th 2010 1:46PM In a large guild and have only one raid group? O.o There is nothing in the rules from you starting a raid group in your guild? Do not know what to tell you. Maybe a new guild. Maybe a new server. The guild I'm in has four raid groups and picks based on activity, skill and personality. No 'I've been in longer, you have to sit out'.... some of them people are the worst. Anyhow the game is yours you pay for it, play it in another guild or w/e....
Jan 25th 2010 12:13PM Five ? LOL , I am sure there will plenty as long as Blizz has the audience to deploy them to. I mean really you do not kill that which makes Arthas the Lich King the essence of that old Orc Shaman could find another vessel say Thrall or Varian. Old Gods I suspect there are more than the two we know about C'Thun and Saron. Three if you count the husk at the Masters Glaive. I also would suspect that they were mainly underlings left behind to guard something or see plans through. Titans, Sargeras the unanswered questions of Queen Azshara , Alleria Windrunner, and gee do you really think you have heard the last of the Burning Legion? When it comes right down to it the did invent the scourge. The Emerald Dream and the whereabouts of Malfurion Stormrage. If you want to pick randoms how about the little girl in Ruan Wead who says she is from some place called englund? And geee what is Ysera exactly dreaming about? The Old Gods encountered so far imo are nothing compared to those in real control. Before the Titans left Azeroth.., hmmmm have we heard the last of these? Besides the low caste Titan members 'left behind' in Ulduar? I think not and I think this story of Azeroth could go on for a very long time if it has the audience.
