Jan 26th 2012 4:27PM Main thing to keep in mind about being an FC: Stay alive. Use your damage reducing cool downs, heal yourself if you can, attack only when you're forced to, and get out of fights to a defensible position as fast as you can. If you're desperate for company, run to your graveyard. And for gods sake, use your snare breaks and trinkets/racials.
Jan 19th 2012 4:53PM Yes, it's a fine nerf, and I'm glad it's coming in waves rather than all at once like FL did.
That said, I wish they would buff the players like in ICC instead of nerfing the bosses. The effect would be that of the players feeling more powerful rather than the bosses feeling less and less powerful.
I don't know, I think I preferred being buffed than seeing bosses get debuffed.

Dec 8th 2011 9:22AM This was a great series, I'd love to see the next chapter in this story, if you guys have ideas to explore, but I'm also up for new material! :-)
Dec 2nd 2011 4:58PM Starts off a bit off the beat but really finds its pace by the middle and ends very strong. Thumbs up!
Nov 17th 2011 11:22AM They also wandered into the ooze.
Though they might've wondered about the glowing goo, which might've caused them to wander into it in the first place.
Nov 16th 2011 1:33PM Pretty bleak assessment! But I can't say you're wrong. I can only hope Blizzard sticks to their guns and people realize that they shouldn't use this as an LFG but rather as a filler for incomplete raids that casual guilds can do in a leisurely manner. I'm hoping to use it for alt runs or maybe a fun Friday night thing by combing our 10-man with another guild or something.
Nov 16th 2011 9:08AM Like I was touched in a bad place by someone I trusted. :-(
Nov 15th 2011 10:42AM Speaking of digging through the Armory, any chance you might do one of those articles where you paw (hehe) through the stats and see what shakes loose in terms of class/spec representation? I tried looking for some stats but couldn't find much and I remember your articles on this subject from 3.x fondly!
Oct 18th 2011 7:42PM Switching classes saved the PvP game for me. My main in all other aspects in my Prot pally that I went Ret to do PvP with - and I hit walls in the 1500 ratings that I couldn't get past.
Eventually I swapped to my warlock - and things got so much better. I'm loving the game, and maybe thinking about playing my Paladin as Holy.
Good advice! The "walk away" is the hardest to do but probably the best thing to do when you're caught in a chain of losses, especially in Arenas.
