World of Warcraft patch 4.3.2 64-bit client download and information [Updated x4] {WoW}

Jan 31st 2012 3:01PM Still getting the validation error, hopefully this is cleared up before raids start up tonight. Would love to see how much of a performance boost, no matter how small, this brings.

Officers' Quarters: The plight of 25-man raiding guilds {WoW}

Jan 30th 2012 3:16PM Raider*, however I suppose I'm also a reader?

Officers' Quarters: The plight of 25-man raiding guilds {WoW}

Jan 30th 2012 1:34PM As a 25 man heroic reader, I feel like I've a lot of experience regarding these issues. Primarily, it's one of manpower. There is zero benefit to do 25s over 10s, but at the same time you need not 27 or 28 people like it says in the article - you need 30+. Especially as a heroic guild, we need thirty experienced, exemplary raiders which are harder and harder to find. We have four people focusing on recruitment and it's competitive to the point of absurdity. Tuning, to me, seems more rigid on 25s. All in all it's putting yourself through a greater ordeal while seeing no gains over 10s, something that is hard to justify.

Raid Rx: Start ranking on healing without even trying {WoW}

Jan 14th 2012 12:06AM Quid - The issues I referred to are partly from my own guild's problems, specifically we had raiders finding it funny to equip Glaives or Shadowmourne just to out-dps other players with far inferior weapons. It was unbecoming of the players and a poor representation of the guild. Progression or not, actions speak volumes. With the circles I run with, the tactics posed in this article would be, at best, poorly received.

Raid Rx: Start ranking on healing without even trying {WoW}

Jan 13th 2012 7:32PM I had the same question. Most healers heal to escape the DPS mentality that is being championed in this article. Purposefully wasting mana just to look better on meters is a surefire way to look childish and to get yourself booted out of any serious progression-focused raiding team.

Paragon: We're sorry we cheated {WoW}

Dec 6th 2011 2:07PM Keep in mind that even a one-day delay from beginning heroics severely hurts top raiding guilds. They thrive on downing bosses as soon as possible, and giving the rest of the hardcore raiders even a one-hour head start knocks them down in the rankings.

With that said, anybody with even a modicum of common sense could realize that this was an exploit and wasn't in line with the spirit of the game. In my opinion, giving their raiding toons an eight day ban would be the just choice - push them back an entire lockout period, not just a few days.

Addon Spotlight: Addon Roulette and win a Razer Nostromo {WoW}

Oct 27th 2011 7:46PM Favorite addon definitely has to be EPGP Lootmaster. There's simply no better system for dividing loot among raiders, especially for 25 man guilds.

The Queue: American Old Gods {WoW}

Apr 15th 2011 1:24PM Question:

As far as US realms go, which are generally considered to be tops in regards to PvE progression? I've seen several realms where heroic modes are barely being touched, and some that the guilds seem to be cruising along towards Sinestra at a solid rate.

Breakfast Topic: Care to share any recent embarrassing moments? {WoW}

Mar 21st 2011 11:09AM Healed the first half of BWD with a fishing pole and boomkin trinket equipped - was wondering the whole time why my regen seemed so low, unfortunately as heals you never know if your numbers are slightly off.
