The state of the Horde and the Alliance {WoW}

Apr 26th 2009 4:08PM Thrall comes across to me as some one no longer fit to lead the Horde. "Redemption!" he shouts, his some what educated upbringing meens that he has a visionary look onto the horde, so he gives his people shamanisum, and freedom, makes Peons respected and stuff. What is glaringly obvious to me is Freedom of Thought seems to be the last thing the horde needs for redemption; Horde members have the freedom of choice, and they seem to be choosing the old ways. Thrall was lucky that it was the forsaken that said "We're doign this our way" and betrayed him, and not the orcs. Thrall is so preocupied by honour and redemption and giving things to his people for no reason other than he spent his first half of his life in the custody of blackmoore, and then 3 years with his farther's people and shouts "I'm all for the horde now!" He's connstantly over compensating for his tiem with blackmoor;

Thrall is more the Son of Blackmoor than he will ever be the Son of Durotan.

And I think things can only get worst for the horde, back in vanilla wow, The New Horde and the Dark Horde constantly had orcs switching sides as their pollitical views see fit, but now that we stormed BlackRockSpire the renagades are only going to saturate the Horde, assasination attemps on Thrall will increse and he will continue to cover them up to keep the face of the Horde, untill something snaps, and that will probably be Thrall's neck.

^most of that was made up Haha.

WoW Moviewatch: Breaking {WoW}

Apr 16th 2009 12:35PM Me and X-Cross agree about the problem with blood elves in machinima, he posted this on myndflame shortly after my review* of In For A Penny Review see. The problem with Blood elves in machinima isn't just that they have some great animation, but that they and their city has a great story, and many machinimarists have wanted to convay some level of that story and it's theams and have failed.

But! X-cross has really out done him self here, it's a truly effective, poetic, original and abstract portayal of love and lust, beauty and uglyness. Something that is prominant in Blood elf culture.

WoW Moviewatch: In For A Penny: Part Two "The Thorne of Rose Street" {WoW}

Apr 13th 2009 1:35PM My Review of this on Myndflame didn't get a comment?

@Glaras, I'd say that blood elves are all over machinima becuase people keep trying to tell their exspancive story but keep failing. But! Selserene has found the perfect way to protray this race, so just maybe, if we're lucky, after In for a penny is done blood elf machinima will be dead forever.

Breakfast Topic: Does the guild recruitment channel work? {WoW}

Apr 8th 2009 8:11AM In the darker days of my privious guild I spent a large amount of my wow time sitting in Shattrath recruting, most of the peeps you'll find that way are the sort that wont stick around long.

Actually, sitting in Shatt you get to know all the other Guidl recrutment officers sitting in Shatt, we ended up spending most of the recrutment promoting each other's guild more than our own. Infact, I would say the Guild recrutment chanel would be better used as a Guild relations channel, that's certainly what I used it for.

These days the guild is a much tighter bunch of people, and no longer recrute at all, why recrute members when you can recrute entire guilds in alliences?

All the World's a Stage: The Roleplaying Spectrum {WoW}

Apr 6th 2009 11:50AM A lovely post! It really shows how much understanding of Rp you have David. Personaly I'm soem where between the Rp Evangelical and the Rp Layman. My problem is that I identify with my mains character and identity so much I can't bring my self to ever make any alts, and gues what? My main is on a Non-Rp server.

Ah well, I make note to surround my self with the agnostics and shout at them for picking the apples off my Tree form becuase they're ment to be saved for the Bi-anual Guild Brew Week!
