Jun 30th 2011 8:40AM In Classic WoW I was THE go-to enhancer on my server and that was due in part to my willingness/eagerness to farm up EVERYTHING. This included a trip to Deadwind Pass because some there possessed a certain formula. For those of you unaware, in Classic WoW the Pass was completely unused. The only reason to go there was getting to Stonard (or farming like me). The place was deserted, save for fairly powerful buzzards and believe it or not, that ogre mound was probably the cheeriest location in the place.
I'll never forget making my way in there the first time. Since it had literally zerO quests, no one knew much about it. You take a few steps in, and immediately the world goes grey, barren and dead. Then a buzzard swoops down on you, which you barely escape on your mount. As you ride along, there's just nothing, except the feeling of creeping death. The emptiness radiated a powerful, terrifying energy of doom. You expected something capable of eliminating, not merely killing, your character at every turn.
That place has never stopped giving me the chills.

May 31st 2011 8:58PM My Druid is stalled at 77 but has also stalled my ability to level other characters. I think I'll pull it off eventually, but here are some of the problems I've encountered.
1. I really enjoy healing on the Druid, but the outfits are ridiculous. I haven't encountered a single kilt/robe thus far and there's something "off" about healing in pants.
2. I originally rolled the Druid to tank/heal, but eventually grew to love healing and tired of tanking (or not getting "healer" if I queued for both).
3. I don't like being trapped in Cat/Bear form (this is a recent development) because you never get to see who you actually are playing.
4. Flight form has made me not want to play anything but a Druid, but I don't really wanna play my Druid right now.
It's quite the predicament.
Jul 4th 2010 8:01PM I'm seriously considering some paid race change RP ideas for my Warlock.
His story began as a human that was eaten alive on the shores of Northrend and undead-ified shortly after arriving (wanted to re-roll my 71 warlock on the Horde side and get a fresh start and not pay 55 bucks). He tried his hand at the typical Undead alchemy thing but was downright terrible at it.
Now he is an (evil) fashion designer (why, oh why did they kill Shadoweave tailoring). Also, he blows things up (engineering).
I'm seriously considering the troll change in the expansion, and of course there's nothing like a little explosive engineering gone wrong. (Especially since there is technically precedent for it.) Is it decent? Cliche? Thoughts?
Feb 21st 2010 10:26AM I think the 7-day cooldown might be a bit much, but they gotta balance it out someway, I suppose.
Feb 20th 2010 12:21PM I think it would be smart to buff drop rates and make them once-a-day encounters, akin to heroics. (Somewhat of a repost to another reply I made.)
Feb 20th 2010 12:19PM Solution: Buff drops rates, allow only one kill per day, then you're locked out of the encounter.
Feb 4th 2010 6:29PM Can you guys make a post about things that are likely to change significantly/disappear in Cataclysm, so that readers can plan to do these things before they go away forever? I know at the moment it's just speculation, and it's an answer/post that will warrant updating especially when the public beta is released, but I'm sure you guys are sly enough to figure out a few things besides Loremaster/Explorer.
Nov 25th 2009 5:42PM Really? That's been obviously coming the whole season!
