The Queue: Braggosh Day {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 1:28PM I have been Updating my Podcasts on Itunes every hour (pretty much) for the last 3 days.

Where is the Wowinsider Podcast?

The Queue: Come to me, Pandaria {WoW}

Mar 26th 2012 12:09PM My last name is Polish, and lord allmighty has the most convoluded, tangled mess fallen from people's mouths.

I am kind of a stickler for pronunciation, its one of my OCD victims, but I have already accepted 3 different ways of saying thr continent.

Pand area
Pand aria
Panda ria

I undoubtly will hear other abominations but those three won't have riding the crazy train to grammar school.

Breakfast Topic: Will your pandaren fit into your character naming convention? {WoW}

Mar 24th 2012 11:59AM Yeah, I have never quite figured out the desire for naming conventions, it must be a fact of the MMO community that has cropped up since I started.

My pandaren will just be named for a Monk character I had for a long time in D&D and several MUDS.

Much like all the rest of my characters are actual names from previous characters.
(why didn't I roll on a Roleplay server?)

The Queue: WTB more warlocks {WoW}

Mar 13th 2012 12:59PM Oh it tickles me that people need to level faster. Of course I don't think they will be happy until they can log in and be any level they want to be. Sad that american kids with no jobs are so impatient these days.

Arcane Brilliance: MoP talent calculator changes for mages, part 2 {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2012 11:58PM Honestly I have thought for a couple months now that something like this for arcane would be coming. Next time you are in Dragon Soul, find a blue dragon and watch it for a while they use a spell called Arcane missile barrage.

Breakfast Topic: Do your WoW and real-life friendships overlap? {WoW}

Jan 27th 2012 1:23PM Its pretty much the only reason I play WoW much anymore. Its a hindrance and a blessing, I feel obligated to stay near IRL friends in my guild and don't get to fulfill my raiding potential; how ever it gives me a Medium to talk to people throughout the week especially when they live across the world due to military profession.

It seems fine to have people IRL also in WoW, even on your server, it can give that reprieve from "Trade chat" that can come from a larger guild where you don't know anyone IRL.

The Queue: Go eat a pizza pie {WoW}

Jan 4th 2012 11:25AM I saw this too, if it is TCG i will be full of sad. However if they are from an event in the near future? I am wondering if the burning legion spies reported back about the Aspects gone mortal and they assault a perceived defenseless planet.

The Queue: Double dog dare {WoW}

Dec 30th 2011 3:43PM Is it probable to honestly be BAD at a spec but not a class. I personally have gotten a lot of flack recently for pugging DS-10, and still being Arcane. My dps is still up there at 2nd or 3rd but I get effectively chewed out for being a lost forgotten spec.

So I tried Fire spec: reforged, respecced, regemmed. Even picked up a trinket that wasn't Theralion's mirror. I began to learn this spec (that I hadn't actually been since the SSC hay day), and the more dungeons I went through the worse my dps got, it started out 4k lower than arcane and by my 4th Hour of twilight heroic I couldn't pull over 10k dps.

I reverted back to arcane and was pulling off 25k+ dps again.

Long post I know but here is the question again. Is it probable to be a good (class) but be a bad (spec).

The Queue: Look at me, Drek'thar {WoW}

Nov 4th 2011 3:52PM So this might be an odd question.

Why does it seem that if one wants to raid, they need to have what appears to be zero guild alliegence? My current guild doesn't raid but its full of everyone I know IRL; however when
I do pug in to raids the guild hosting it bugs the crap out of me week after week to join their guild.

Each one of them, has told me that guild alliegence is a thing of the past if anyone wants to raid they must forsake friendship for gear. When did this become the case?

The WoW Insider Show Episode 216: BlizzCon Episode 1 {WoW}

Oct 22nd 2011 6:14PM Okay, I had major volume control issues. I didn't know when to turn it up to hear someone or turn it down because my speakers jumped.
