Jan 26th 2011 4:25PM some of the spells require targets that are players. curse of the runecaster is an example of this, and gives an error message when I try to use it.
the cleave on that mob is still hilariously brutal though, so... woooooooo
Jan 19th 2011 3:44PM forteXorcist is probably the best addon ever in regard to keeping track of the stuff we need to know.
regarding some of the things you mentioned, Dark Archangel can really be used "on-cooldown", unless you know heroism is coming up. Obviously only if you have Evangelism stacked to full, of course.
As for when to Mind Blast, it's fine to Mind Blast with any number of orbs, as long as it's more than zero. Based on the upcoming damage increase, it will likely go back to being an on-cooldown spell, as it used to be way back when.
Remember that you get the same Empowered Shadows buff regardless of how many Shadow Orbs you put into your Mind Blast.
As for proccing Masochism, that shouldn't be something you need to weave into your single target DPS unless the fight goes on for a very long time. You could always turn on the low mana warning if you use the in-game combat text, as well!
I hope that is helpful.
Dec 19th 2010 12:49PM yes, it's a movie called Tron that is a sequel to a movie called Tron.
Nov 10th 2010 5:14PM more like "I had the gold to buy PBDs"
Nov 10th 2010 5:12PM This nerf just causes VE to feel incredibly insignificant in the face of all the self-heals other classes have that are much more potent and on demand, especially in PvP. Really really disappointing to be out-healed by a death knight all of a sudden.
Oct 23rd 2010 11:38PM I hate to say it, but overall I found this year's Blizzcon somewhat disappointing, at least in terms of surprises.
On the Diablo front, the Demon Hunter is a great 5th class, but a LOT of people were pretty close to guessing what the class would be anyways. (still, I think the Diablo series has always wanted a badass Van Helsing type hero such as this)
More importantly, on the Warcraft front. Some neat art panels, a bunch of B-roll footage, the login screen, and a lot of questions answered with "we're thinking about X, we'll get back to you on that one."
am I being unfair? I feel like the hype greatly overshadowed the product.
Oct 20th 2010 4:02PM it's pretty clear these people with mana issues are the kind of people who save their cooldowns until they're at like 25% mana.
use your shadowfiend early people. that's what sin and punishment is for. I spam multidot on heroic deathwhisper 25, never cast dispersion, and am always at 75% mana or more.
I'm only wearing icc25 level gear with a few heroic pieces. even in icc10 gear, proper cooldown management should keep you above 50% mana at all times.
