Nov 23rd 2009 10:32AM Here kitty kitty kitty!!
Could use a nice kitten over here, living so far away from my cats back home.
Jun 17th 2009 7:35PM Ashbringer > Frostmourne in both power and lore.
And you could get the corrupted ashbringer (and even so all of SM bowed down before you).
A lot of folk tend to... overestimate Frostmourne. It was just part of the regalia that Kil'jaeden bound within the frozen throne to bind Ner'zhul's twisted spirit inside it. Forged by the demons.
It wasn't that Frostmourne corrupted Arthas, it was that Ner'zhul's will corrupted Arthas using Frostmourne as a vessel (think of it as Frostmourne was the radio antenna and let Arthas listen to Lich King 108.8 FM).
Now the question is with 'Arthas the Lich King' defeated will Ner'zhul also be vanquished? And thus the corrupting influence from the sword. If so then it is just a sword, albeit a powerful demon-forged blade. If not then it would be 'fun' for random audible whisper to happen when a player wields it (basically an 'invisible' proc while wielding it.)
Frostmourne's history is fairly shrouded in mystery before it was put into the Frozen Throne, as is the rest of the lich king's armor.
However, considering they let you aquire Gul'dan's skull an item that had far more power than Frostmourne... it being an item you can aquire in the game is far within the realm of possibility.
Jun 15th 2009 9:03PM "Our community is mostly those who believe they have animal spirit, or are truly an animal on the inside."
Is the part I was speaking of in reference to to your complaint. And yes, I did read the entire thing.
Jun 15th 2009 8:24PM I consider myself a furry. I don't go to cons or dress up in fursuits. I don't see anything wrong with those that do, but it is just not for me. I do appreciate anthromorphic art and stories.
I just want to say I find this story vaguely offensive and very inaccurate. My spirituality is not at all tied to the furry community. This article just feels like the author just searched for or created the most controversial and ill-suited person to represent the furry fan-base.
Sexuality wise (going into dangerous territory here) I would not view anthromorphs as animals as long as they had both sentience and reasoning ability. I'd judge them the same as 'normal' people. I have no interest in animals and similarly would have no interest in a 'normal' human who lacked sentience and reasoning skill.
If the person interviewed is indeed a real person and not a fabrication of the author I apologize. They may believe whatever they wish, however I would ask them not to show themselves as a typical, let alone the majority, of the furry fan base.
Nov 12th 2008 7:12AM Bear... I want bear!
Nov 10th 2008 7:50AM Mmmm polar bear! How does it taste? What about Murloc?
Oct 7th 2008 10:25PM I disagreed with a few bits on the DPS write up. But then I tend to play tanks and melee dps so they are what I know best and have gotten in looong discussions on such topics.
I have a 70 rogue, 2 70 prot pals, a prot warrior, and a 70 feral druid that I raid with (doing bear and cat when needed).
Now as for your write up on tanks. I pretty much agree whole-heartedly. Not using death grip on a caster when it is such a sexy ability for pulling casters is... just so sad.
Looking forward to seeing how I handle DK tanking. Tanking is my favorite thing to do and I love the mechanics behind DKs for tanking. Using cooldowns to judge when they take the heavy or light damage. Likely going an Unholy/Frost build for tanking. A bit more of an 'AoE' spec to tanking but with Lichborne and Bone Shield to fill on the gaps when Icebound Fortitude is not up.
