Nov 25th 2008 12:29PM Thats all good and all, but at the moment theres zilch leather with defense rating. As a bear, id have to get rating by means of trinkets, rings and necklaces which in the end would only provide for about a maximum of 150 ish rating (so about 30 defense) and id have to give up agility (ie dodge) for it. Now one can argue the armored rings/trinkets are going to be dead, im fine with that. However unless they give a very large coefficient in the defense per dodge to overlook the dodge from agility, I have zero reason to get it.

That said, unless they add leather with defense into already leather gear or add to the already large gear pool, I wont be going to seek out defense if something like this were to happen. The only benefit I see would be those defense with large stam stats on necklace/rings.

Nov 17th 2008 12:08PM People have been saying Naxx is easier then Kara when it first came out. Can you or someone compare the two? Is it easy as kara after the 3.0.2 hit or is it just not like what Zul'aman was where you had to wipe about 10x before getting the entire raid to understand how to survive a boss fight (pre-3.0.2 patch).

One of my main goals at the moment is clearing Eye of Eternity, and recently found out you have to get attuned by starting a quest dropped by the second to last boss in there. So am wondering the difficulty of Naxx. Especially since level 60 version with only 20 level 70's was really really hard before it was gone.

Cooldown possibly coming to CoH, Wild Growth {WoW}

Nov 7th 2008 7:10PM I fell in love with my wild growth as a very, very nice raiding healing tool. I would be sad to see this go, only healing 5 around me every 6 seconds? I dont see a point. Wild growth got nerfed a lot in the PTR realm, and there is really no mana efficiencywhen spamming it. Increase the mana, lower the healing. But making a CD on it will make it completely worthless. Its like situational at best for 5man if it comes down to that. Youve got me to stop spamming lifebloom on the entire raid, and involved rejuv/wild growth. I feel currently the resto in PvE healing is fine atm.

Shifting Perspectives: State of the class, part 3 - Resto {WoW}

Nov 6th 2008 4:09PM I feel my healing as resto has been buffed. The nerf on lifebloom is minimal now that my bonus healing is been buffed by a lot. Before the patch, I had 2203 healing. Now, I have 1319 healing buffed (which at the .532 modifier of pre-patch, would sit at around 2479ish).

Also, since like many other restos, stacking all that spirit was not for nil. Yes, lifebloom and mana efficiency may be lower, however before I felt unstoppable in terms of speed due to the fact Id regen my lifeblooms with two seconds in casting. That said, yes, I may actually get lower then 70% mana now on fights but typically I can still share my innervate (cant wait for the glyph!).

I used to be top 3 in raids such as SSC/Tk and Hyjal. Now, ive been seeing top 3 still. Nothing for me has changed. Now, go into 10 man raids and im the only raid healer along with OT, I typically hit first by far. Ive actually ran with two other healers in places like ZA/Kara multiple times now and ive been getting about 45% every time with the other two both combined to the same percentages (now, healing meters are off imo, but numbers that far cant be that off). Wild Growth is amazing (casting them on multiple targets creates a huge effect, like casting them on several different casters and melee to provide almost entire raid healing in seconds), along with the glyph of rejuv and in the future lifebloom stacking.

In the end, I have high hopes for level 80 raiding. It looks like spellpower will be hitting into 2k and most gear will have a ton of spirit and haste. 10 second lifeblooms in the future does have good raid healing potential, however I have in the past counted on them blooming without restacks (ie rolling them on people on ZA's Hex Lord before spirit bolts).

Oct 21st 2008 2:08PM I see, makes sense in my opinion. Im very active on Turalyon, and ever since the patch we have hit map-wide lag/dc (ie BC map crashing, or Eastern Kingdoms) and for the last two days "Instance Server failing". Example: two nights ago my raid group couldnt get into ZA cause Instance server wasnt found. Same thing happened last night for SSC. Waiting a half hour, we got into both however since the patch things like this have become a bother. Hoepfully since its 11am now, they have tried to fix things....

Oct 21st 2008 1:37PM I see two of my servers, Arathor and Turalyon, on the list. Since the new server is in Latin America, its suggested that the list linked above is US servers right? Or am I mistaken?
