Thanks but no thanks, i'll much rather see challenging bosses. Trash was never hard, trash was annoying when it needed CC.

Jan 26th 2009 5:15PM Please no! Seriously, what annoyed me in BC, all the way from heroics up to BT was that we spent more time on trash than on actual bosses. There's nothing challenging on having the mobs require CC, my main is tank, my alt is mage, and well, while tanking, it's really boring to pull mobs one by one just 'cos they hit hard or have some stupid ability. I see way more fun and challenge keeping these mobs off crazy DPSers than yelling at the brain-dead mage to CC the mob. And from the mage's point of view, i don't really care if i should CC or not, it doesnt bother me, it isnt that much fun, i'll rather cast that fireball than sheep.

If CC was required on bosses, there we can talk, but please no more half a hour worth of trash to reach every boss 'cos the trash takes 5min each pack thanks to CC -.-

Jan 25th 2009 6:15PM say wha? Shield of Righteousness with my 10man gear, that is gear focused on block value, crits for over 10k in raid wont do that with frisbee,cept thaddius and such i guess.

Anyways, my warrior is quite lowlevel, but the sound of hotr, well, i got used, but the complete lack of sound on shield of righteousness, there actually could come something pro :/ However, i'd have to get my warr a little higher to feel the difference i guess, but playing my tankadin as main already feels pretty great so i don't complain :-)

Paladins nerfed on the beta {WoW}

Oct 25th 2008 2:28PM oh well, i'm quite disappointed with these nerfs. I'm prot paladin as main spec, used to spec ret for some relax, however after patch, yes i can burst people a lot(not as much as mages but still:P), however these nerfs aren't really gonna change it too much imo. Seriously, my ret burst is pretty heavy even without seals, and if SoB hits for 500 or 400(which is probably what this patch does), it wont save the game.

I think this hurts holy solo and prot threat way more than ret burst. Devs said they like ret dps in pve, just wanna tone down ret burst, well this seems to me like nerf to sustained dps, holy dmg, prot dmg/threat, but definitely not ret nerf :/ Correct me if i'm wrong, but i fail to see points of such nerfs.

i'm not QQing about it, i don't think nerfing SoV threat by some 20% will make me lose aggro, 'cos in my roughly T5level gear (some prekara,badge,T5,T6) i can keep above sunwell geared dps even while offtanking (about 20% behind SWP tankadin and T6 tankadin with JoL), but these nerfs seem pretty weird to me :/
