Aug 22nd 2009 6:22PM Dear Mike,
could you please stop posting update at the beginning of the page ?
Since wow.com doesn't provide some kind of support for this kind of news feed (like a clear break between paragraphs, or an array so it's clearly sorted), please write from the top to the bottom.
Else, it's a pain, especially on the QA part, which is difficult to understand since sometimes the answer is before the question, and sometimes not.
I don't want to train my archeology skills just to understand your post ;)
Thanks a lot.
Jul 1st 2009 7:26AM let me express my national pride by riding a giant chicken !
May 26th 2009 4:59AM I don't exactly agree with the lead statement of this column: people continue to farm heroics for a few reasons. Among them, the 2 dailies, and enchant mats farming.
It would be great to loot some raw enchant mats, or some raw gemming mats, from dungeons.
Still, I agree : I generally run heroics to help guildmates getting some stuff.
May 20th 2009 7:41AM Usually, innervate is used on healers.
Priests tend to have a lot of spirit, as do resto druids. On my server, Resto Shamys are quite rare nowadays, and I read it was quite a general problem. That's actually good for palaheal, but they don't seem to have mana problems currently.
So, now, we get a huge nerf (35% less mana is huge) on innervation for 2 classes. 2 classes that usually heal raid.
Next time you wipe because heals get oom after having already innervate, remember that this modification was actually welcomed...
(by the way, I don't care if a nerf hit my class/spec, however I do care if a nerf hit a nerf hit the capacities of my raid.)
May 20th 2009 5:37AM Could you please elaborate on innervate ? Maybe I did not understand everything, but it seems to me, it's a really huge nerf to druids mana regen.
let's have a look at the patch notes :
Innervate: This ability has been redesigned to grant 450% of the casting Druid's base mana pool to the target over 20 seconds,
Which gives me (if my data is correct) 13035 mana. In 3.1.1, I had something like 850 mp5 in the FSR, which gives something like 18700 mana. ZOMG ! Nerf droodz ! the new version of innervate is way too powerful !
May 18th 2009 8:52AM Same here.
It was fun the 2 or 3 first times, now it's just painful. Having to spend 10-15 min on this (usually, there is always a moron to do something stupid enough making everybody lose 10 more minutes, so that's more something like 30 min lost on this) is just a painful waste of time.
But well, that was fun at the very beginning, so let's say that it was done the right way.
May 6th 2009 5:18AM You all seem to forget that Rogues can pick locks ! that's a great utility !
Apr 29th 2009 10:04AM I agree. My guild / raid alliance is still having fun on deconstructor (not yet down, so kind of suck), but I don't want to see it nerfed.
We raid one night of 3 hours a week atm, because of irl issues, both in 10 and in 25.
I would appreciate a few more weeks to give it a try, without having to consider normal ulduar-10/25 as free-loot-for-everyone.
Apr 21st 2009 8:18AM Dual-spec is offering such a great versatility to raid setup !
When your class can have a use to it, just take it (I mean fire mage is not that different from arcane mage... but resto druid is different from balance druid)
Yesterday, we had to switch roles on the fly in a uldu10, because of people having to be replaced due to hardware failures and because we decided to try another boss.
Our setup had 3 tanks, 3 healers, 4 dps, and one dps left => druid bear -> cat, druid tree -> boomkin, invite palaheal, we're ready.
Thanks to dual spec, we were able to wipe for another hour ! that's great !
Apr 15th 2009 7:39AM 3 cards, and 1200+ comments so far. Chances to win are pretty weak, but let's give it a try !
