Jan 16th 2009 10:38AM Blizzard isn't concerned about so called "pure" classes losing raid spots. They have said many times over that they would rather a raid leader pick the best players rather then the best classes when determining the group makeup.
So stop whining about losing your spot and become a better player. Or buy your raid leader some candy.
Nov 26th 2008 11:09AM You're making a grand assumption that he needs to work in the first place. He's married, and it follows that perhaps she's the bread winner in the family.
It's considered acceptable for a man to support a disabled wife, but the reverse situation is usually thought of as "incorrect".
He used to own his own business (RPG game shop). His disorder now prevents him from doing anything outside. There is no logic to it, there is almost nothing that can be done to fix it. "Normal" people cannot understand panic disorders, so assuming that he just needs to fix it so he can "go get a job" is short sighted and a tad ignorant.
It's obvious they are doing fine as an economic unit. They can afford a computer that can play WoW and an XBox + TV and Internet. On a World scale, that's a pretty high standard of life.
Nov 2nd 2008 11:45AM The bears who are whining about a 360 degree swipe really do need to LEARN HOW TO PLAY.
Does a tank want elites bashing them from behind? NO.
By forcing swipe into a 180 arc, Blizzard is forcing us bears to learn how tanks properly. I shake my head at tanks that try to hold aggro on things behind them.
360 might be great right now, but when the expansion hits and our skills are used in the right context, I think the lazy paladins and warriors who try that crap will find themselves replaced by intelligent bears very quickly.
