Dec 21st 2011 2:50PM Love to have a year of Mumble service...
Oct 7th 2011 5:39PM I too wish this rule applied for ALL LFG instances. I hate loosing a great piece of tanking gear to a DPS because they can hit the Need button and do so...
How would Feral Tanks work though? My Bear likes the same gear as the DPS, am I automatically going to loose the roll because I have my role set to "Tank" (All other tanks are Plate and want Dodge/Parry, Bears want Leather Agility gear - much the same as a Rogue or Fearal DPS)? Will this only work against Tank/Healer gear and it is a free for all with regards to the DPS based gear?

Apr 7th 2011 10:40AM When is Blizzard going to create an official armory app for the Windows 7 Phone platform? An official Authenticator app?
Apr 5th 2011 6:29PM As strange as this is, most groups I have run with (PUG), everyone rolls Greed/Disenchant for BOE items of any color. Some folks will ask if it is OK to need on it, typically that is for current spec current character. I have only had a few instances where someone rolls Need by default... Generally when a player rolls need by default, someone in the group initiates a "Vote to Kick" fairly quickly after the roll is complete...at least that has been my experience.
Most folks are pretty polite and ask if they can roll Need for OS or on BOE items, generally nobody minds...or someone will speak up and say it is a nice upgrade for their current spec and the person rolls appropriately.
Apr 5th 2011 6:06PM I do like the idea of BoE Superior/Epic items becoming soulbound on a Need roll as I feel this would prevent need rolls to auction the item or need rolls for alts. A few things I wish they could/would build into the Need/Greed system are the following...
1. Need rolls can only be made on items pertinent to your currently active spec.
- Nothing is more frustrating than tanking Throne of the Tides a million times trying to get the damn Porcelain Crab (It doesn't seem to like to drop for me) for some DPS to roll Need on it and win over the tank.
2. Disenchant rolls are different than greed rolls.
- I will commonly select greed on an OS item or something I would not mind getting only to be mixed into the same roll as those who don't want the item and would prefer just to DE the item. Yes I understand enchanting materials are useful for everyone, but there should be some distinction between I will actually use the item vs. I will just use the dust/essence/shard of the item.
