Aug 10th 2009 2:14PM Not sure this is the most thought-out article I've seen on Wow.com. It simply takes rumours already reported in Wow.com in previous articles, and reports them almost as fact, despite there being no new press releases from Blizzard and no new leaks. This page from two weeks ago has all the information also to be found on this page, but is sensibly more circumspect about it's reliability: http://www.wow.com/2009/07/26/all-the-worlds-a-stage-possibilities-for-worgen-and-goblins/#continued
Jul 19th 2009 3:58PM Question for next instalment:
Why do player corpses stay in the game when players log out? Healthy characters disappear when their players log out, so why doesn't the same happen with corpses? The only effect I can see of corpses remaining in place is Corpse Graffiti, hardly positive.
Oct 9th 2008 2:48PM This article is a bit credulous. All we have are the words of two people, Duane George who is adamant he didn't win trade and the Blizzard GM, who (having presumably looked at the logs) is equally adamant that he did. Either could be true, but for the article to automatically side with one over the other risks egg on Wowinsider's face: after all, people have challenged Blizzard decisions before until the GM came back with very specific logs that backed up Blizzard's case (remember the guy who said he'd bought an epic mount that went missing?) Equally, Blizzard has got it wrong sometimes too and had to backtrack, so either could be true.
