Apr 28th 2011 11:15AM I realized this about the celestial steed when doing the canal crab cooking quest. My carpet would dismount when going underwater and being a gnome it is difficult to get my tiny noggin far enough above water to remount. With the sparkle pony I go from swimming to flying seamlessly, and stays mounted even as I grab the crabs! Makes that quest a little less of a pain.
Oct 19th 2010 12:34PM @Von the miss chance you're seeing may very well be the chance to miss with your offhand. There should be two tables of levels/hit chance when you mouse over the melee hit. One is for main hand, the other is for off hand. Like Angus said, cap the 17% spell hit and don't worry about the off hand since the cap for that is unrealistic like 27%
Jun 25th 2010 11:13AM I agree. I don't do dailies on any of my characters anymore... I think all those daily quests should be turned into weekly quests that give 7x the amount of rewards. Who's with me?!?!
Jun 21st 2010 5:58PM I don't know when you took this foray into Arena, but 500 resilience seems low. lately I've been pvp'ing in BGs like mad on my warlock (micheil on kael'thas). It took a month or two to get where I am now (which really isn't that bad), but between VoA 10/25, honor gear, emblem pvp gear, and the arena points from my daily BG, I'm at 913 resilience (with only one +20 res gem). I'm looking now to get my 4th set piece (232 or 251 helm) and the 245 ring once I have the honor for it, so that should push me right over the 1000 mark. And this is all without doing any arena whatsoever. Now if only I could get the 270 pants and gloves from Toravon 25....
May 18th 2010 5:59PM You actually don't need to keep up the micro menu for this. If the cursor is blinking inside a macro text pane, hitting esc once will make the cursor disappear and it will then respond to keybindings, like 'p' for your spellbook. Just don't hit esc twice or else you'll close the macro window too.
May 6th 2010 12:46PM @evalon According to one of the screenshots above, it's got an option that says "show only if cast by self". Perhaps that's what you're looking for?
May 6th 2010 12:01PM It's not about having it play for you. It's about dealing with information overload. I play better when I can easily see that this buff or that debuff is active without having to sift through 20 icons next to my minimap. This mod will only benefit those players who already know their class well and just want to play better.
Feb 9th 2010 10:50AM Would love to have a copy of that!
Feb 13th 2009 4:39PM Being a resto shaman myself, I CAN NOT WAIT until I can finally use my complete enhancement set of gear in my bags for exactly that, doing dailies and grinding. And that right there is probably going to be THE biggest impact of dual speccing. People like to play what they like to play. A lot of classes that *could* offspec into a tank or healing role probably won't. They like to dps and that's what they're good at. But all the people who have made the sacrifice of healing or tanking when they'd rather be dps'ing will finally be rewarded for that sacrifice. But you're still going to have the people, like my girlfriend, who like to tank and probably won't even dual spec. Or might do the Heroic Tanking/Raid tanking dual specs.
However, all that being said, I feel dual speccing WILL increase the likelihood of finding a tank or healer. People who previously might have liked to try tanking or healing but stuck with their dps spec because of the difficulties soloing and/or costs to respec will probably now consider offspeccing into one of those roles. I really can't wait :D
