Feb 11th 2009 6:20PM If you use a phasing system where some of the players can see mobs while others can't, couldn't that be expoited where by you have healers who have already cleared the boss heal the raid without worrying about splash damage etc. e.g. Sapphiron.
Trying to program around that would be quite difficult I would have thought

At least on my server I haven't come across a flood of SSC/BT/Sunwell crafting epic patterns from farmed trash on the AH, wouldn't imagine it would be too different if it was BoE gear.

If you give badges or badge equivalent gear no one would bother with 5 or 10 man instances.
If you give out trinkets or other novelty items, once people have farmed all the drops no one will do the arenas anymore.
There's only so many times you can do the same boss fight before the mechanics get boring, at least with PvP arenas it's a different fight each time.
