Feb 24th 2009 4:09PM Is it just me, or does the first Ahn'kahet map suggest the addition of a new boss (the green one at the top)?
Jan 22nd 2009 9:12PM Actually, only the heroic version of the Mechano-Lord Capacitus fight has the positive and negative charges. The normal version has shields that reflect melee attacks or spells.
Jan 10th 2009 5:09PM Figurine - Twilight Serpent is BoP, so only jewelcrafters can get it. If you're adding profession-specific gear, the Noise Machine for engineers is probably worth a mention as well.
Dec 21st 2008 3:13PM Icecrown does have flightpaths, but most of them are in areas that must be unlocked through phasing. To the best of my knowledge, there are four.
Dec 19th 2008 5:11PM My affliction warlock, who just dinged level 80 a couple weeks ago, recently did 1900 DPS on our guild first Naxx run with 80 dungeon/heroic/rep blues and a couple 70 epics. The rest of the DPS was in the 900 to 1500 range, and only the lowest was still in mostly greens.
Skill is far more important than gear. Back in BC, I could out-DPS the average PUG player (on any of my DPS alts) in full welfare S2 while wearing a mix of greens and blues.
Dec 10th 2008 11:54AM By "fix", I meant adding healing goggles for paladins (and possibly other classes, since the spellpower goggles seem to be itemized more for DPS) and allowing druids to craft the leather AP goggles.
Dec 10th 2008 8:19AM It's not a bad thing. If flasks are more affordable, maybe the lazy people will actually flask up for raids now.
Dec 8th 2008 11:18AM Actually, you get ten Northern Spices for one Dalaran Cooking Award, not just one. Also, I can confirm getting an extra Dalaran Cooking Award in the Small Spice Bag.
Dec 6th 2008 4:32AM The idea with professions for Wrath was to not tie particular professions to particular classes. Most of the crafting professions get an item enhancement which is useful for any class or spec (fur linings, extra sockets, Dragon's Eyes, embroideries, master's inscriptions), and there are no super-powerful BoP items to force you to take a certain profession (Skillherald, Frozen Shadoweave). Other than the lack of recipes for some professions, I'm much happier overall with the crafting situation in Wrath than in BC (assuming they fix the engineering goggles).
Dec 4th 2008 1:10AM Okay, but when are they going to let you check glyphs in the Inspect window, let alone the armory? I'd think that would be a bigger priority than achievements.
