not that I'm complaining: Bloodlusted and trinketed Spirit walker's grace = 10 seconds elemental shaman setting things on fire WHILE bashing their heads is going to be pure awesomeness if these changes make it through PTR

just a thought...

Anyway, I completely agree it is a duty of any enhancement shaman (or, you know... any hybrid... kitty tranquility can do wonders) to utilize their abilities - including heals if necessary. Good article.

Feb 8th 2010 3:47PM As Thijz said, most machinimators simply record the footage ingame or use modelviewer to record animations using greenscreen and put them on a background.

Percula has tailor-made all animations* to fit the music and gave it all a story, which combined with flawless camera work makes this piece much more than "just another wow music machinima".

Spotlighting it on wowinsider for sixth [? just guessing] time might be an overkill, but I guess this speaks of the quality as well.

* which, btw, look very professionally done to my layman's eye, though I know absolutely nothing about animation, either

Jan 19th 2010 8:24PM as enhancement shaman, i know it is always better to use lightning bolt on single target

however, in attempt to prove it, i've made a simple spreadsheet (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AqW5BIt4CR0JdGlnVjdqVkNleHF3Q3NyYUw3cjRZVGc&hl=en) and it appears that due to Shamanism, Chain Lightning becomes much better (15% flat (additive) spellpower bonus is way bigger improvement for cl than for lb)

now i do not play elemental, nor ever did, so there may be mistakes, but with LB scoring bigger hits at 3800+ spellpower (at longer cast time), i can see single target CL as a dps improvement for beginning elemental shaman who can afford it mana-wise

i will not agree on Eye of the Storm, however. That one IS a must have.
