Forum post of the day: Serious business decisions {WoW}
Jan 13th 2009 1:55PM "I am not nor have a I ever been a hardcore raider. I raid about 3 days a week and only about 4 hours each."
I think the general consensus is that you are hardcore, Vince.
Breakfast Topic: What you call home {WoW}
Jan 5th 2009 9:53AM Personally, I'm a fan of Stormwind - it's about the only place I'd feel truly proud to defend and protect. I like the cobblestones and the layout, pretty much everything.
I do truly enjoy Dalaran, however the lag is just too bad for my comp right now. Maybe soon I will enjoy it more.
Shifting Perspectives: The Druid of 2008, Part III {WoW}
Dec 31st 2008 8:42AM Good job Allison.
Although I think trees could do Heigan even with the slowing penalty - use tree form in Phase 1 while on the platform, and just pop out of tree for the Safety Dance in Phase 2 and still throw out HoTs if needed in nelf form.

Dec 30th 2008 2:18PM Question about tagging: How will Cat Form Faerie Fire work?
I use it to pull all the time from a distance without shifting forms but it doesn't actually do any damage (only reduces armor).
Feral staves no more in patch 3.0.8 {WoW}
Dec 16th 2008 10:26AM I play mainly a druid tank and a hunter, and from what I can see all this does is give hunters another stat stick. That's it. Like Daniel mentioned, a warrior could possibly be interested in these while leveling... but considring there's no strength on them...
The only differentiator now is that some of the staves still have armor - which clearly dentifies them as a druid tanking weapons, so hands off hunters if there's a bear in your group.
Ask WoW Insider: The new look of Northrend {WoW}
Dec 16th 2008 8:55AM I was a little disappointed that all my leather chestpieces were exactly the same model all the way from 70-80, but once I got my T7 chest things were great again.
Overall, the modelling they DID do is pretty fantastic. In the end I'd rather fantastic gameplay than a few different looking pieces so I's say they got their priorities straight.
Breakfast Topic: Most annoying Northrend Mob {WoW}
Nov 28th 2008 8:09AM Two words which symbolize a quest more frustrating than any I've had in Northrend so far:
Murloc Heads.
Ghostcrawler on long term defense changes {WoW}
Nov 25th 2008 12:55PM The most intriguing possible idea to come from this entire thread is re-iterated in the post above - possibly manipulating the benefits of defense rating to apple differently depending on class (could a passive calculation, or based on talents).
As a bear tank, I'm happy enough to ignore defense, and realize that even if defense started applying differently to the tanking classes, Blizzard would have to unveil a completely new itemization strategy for druid tanks. So, I'll keep my eyes on the rogue prize and watch from attacks from behind.

Nov 21st 2008 8:17AM Level 74 - right on track in a comfort zone. LOVE Northrend, and LOVE the instances and questlines.

Nov 18th 2008 2:03PM Can't wait to try it out tonight when I ding 73...I've heard it's everyone's favorite so far!
