Jan 18th 2011 12:24PM I think we all know Varian is going to die in an epic clash in which all the Horde leaders die, and this will turn Anduin from the Path of Light to the Path of Emo (Shadow). Shadow Priest Anduin FTW.
Jul 5th 2010 12:09PM Being from the gulf coast and in the marine sciences, I don't have a problem with this being in game, however, some of the comments I've seen are woefully uneducated on the topic, and it saddens me that this isn't being taken as seriously as it is. I think much of this is due to the slow moving nature of it, people like instant gratification, and this doesn't fit into that paradigm. The situation in the gulf will most likely take longer to recover from and have a much more adverse effect on the economy and ecology of the gulf than did Hurricane Katrina. If you have seen some pictures of Louisiana lately, you would see that there are still areas that never fully recovered from that. It took almost a decade to get most of the oil out from the Exxon Valdez spill, this spill will be several times the volume and with hurricane season coming up it could bring oil further inland as well as spreading more of the oil to florida and texas. The oil reaching wetlands will decimate the breeding grounds for many types of seafood in the gulf, and so all you people around the world that enjoy our succulent shrimp and oysters will be having to pay much more in the future. The people that come from all over to enjoy our beautiful beaches will have to go to other increasingly expensive and crowded coasts. No this will not be a problem that is forgotten in a year.
Mar 30th 2010 4:00PM People seem to be forgetting Blizz has no concept of time what-so-ever. I mean how many times have we heard "Soon" from them? Sure it would be nice if we were qq'ing about goblin rogues at blizzcon, but that doesn't mean it's gonna happen. I'm trying to decide what is more of a waste of time; predicting blizz release dates or filling out this year's NCAA tournament bracket.
Feb 10th 2010 5:36PM Look this is not gonna be a draw, Anub is gonna pull Eregos out by some means, in my head he starts destroying the blue dragon eggs down in pit around the Nexus and makes a point of showing Eregos. If there is one thing a dragon hates it's eggs being harmed. And as Eregos will need to be on the ground to protect the eggs, him flying is not an issue. I think that takes away a lot of his win strategy right there.
Given the abilities, Anub's adds are far superior, and there are more of them, so Anub has numbers on his side (the venomancers especially suck). Anub can burrow, making Eregos' Enrage worthless, Eregos can planar shift but Anub will still be able to Impale/Pound the **** fuck out him so the shift does no good. Honestly Anub's Burrow is what wins this. It's like having 3 or 4 pally bubbles to use during a fight.
Feb 2nd 2010 2:57PM I hope that comes soon, cuz I'm gonna need to buy a clean pair of pants off the auction house, cuz I think I just soiled myself at that announcement
Jan 26th 2010 2:28PM Well that auto-tuner sounds demonic, and he always shows up on other people's songs like he's summoned. So I gotta go with warlock minion... not sure which one he would be tho. Probably a felguard since I think we can all agree that Andy Samberg must be specced affliction with some of those songs.
Jan 14th 2010 10:40AM And he's done a bad job of it. He got turned. Loken's biggest downfall is his hubris. Xevozz is a powerful opportunist. Xevozz when's this fight easy if you only look at just the damage, he does insane damage, and he can keep Loken pretty close to boot. And let's get one thing straight, the only reason ethereals haven't kill Loken yet is because it's much more profitable to wait for us to do it, and then just clean up. They have near infinite patience.
Jan 13th 2010 3:05PM Mephisto was such a loot pinata. Oh the good days. I miss my immortal assassin. Phoenix strike was so win.
