Sep 17th 2010 7:59AM It's called make-up, a lot of extra light, and a prof photographer... not photo-shop or any other kind of digital editing.
Jul 2nd 2010 4:58PM Oh and the picture of Justin Beiber to use as an example for the "Omnipresent baseball cap" and slapping a 25 year old age limit on it is just plain dumb because Justin Beiber is like 16 years old... Who ever wrote this article, Teresa Wu, needs to use their fact checker before being allowed to post rubbish like this on the internet.
Jul 2nd 2010 4:54PM Well... it's pretty obvious they weren't talking about construction workers here unless you like to go out to the bar and dance in your shorts and boots? Think people. Baseball caps are juvenile? Please. That's like saying a woman in a mini-skirt is still trying to rebel against their parents and say to the world, "I can wear what I want to wear and you're not gonna stop me!" Khaki pants/shorts - you don't need that many pockets...? It's a casual look. Standard khakis look to professional or like I'm going to play golf... when I want to be casual, I'll cargo shorts because they're comfortable and don't make me look like an old man or like I'm bringing back the 80's trying to pull of jean shorts. Think about what you're saying people. Messy long hair, yeah that's gross... buzz cuts are for lazy guys who don't care about their appearance OR are starting to go bald. Let's meet in the middle... if a woman thinks a guy is trying to hide behind long hair, then she better get her clippers ready for a buzz cut too.
Jun 15th 2010 1:32PM Most of you are so quick to judge that it's obvious you didn't comprehend the article in its entirety. She only had her first seizure the week before. There was no way she could have possibly known that it would happen again so quickly or why it happened the first time. People who start to have life altering events occur don't change their lives immediately. It takes time to start to work out these things and part of the preparation was letting her kids know what to do in the event that it happened again and they had talked about what to do which is why the 8 year old knew what to do. I think the mom did what she could with the information she had and that the little boy was freaking awesome. Kudos to them both and I hope she gets better soon.
May 22nd 2010 12:15PM @jeff "If you have no motive to be gay then why be gay? Your argument is self-defeating. Everything on this Earth has a motive behind it. Your choice of a gay lifestyle fulfills your motives in life. No childish, rational."
- Very childish rationale. I am gay because I am gay. There aren't any choices, wants, or desires. I am what I am. I am happy because I am happy. Everyone on here who hates gays and this "gay lifestyle" that they don't know anything about because all you know is the gay stereotype are the ones who are unhappy with their lot or insecure in their beliefs.
May 22nd 2010 10:12AM I have no motive to be gay. People who murder have a motive. Your argument is childish.
May 22nd 2010 10:09AM So in your thinking only reproducing couples are normal? If there were no gays the world would have already reached its carrying capacity hundreds of years ago and none of us would be here now. So many of you are so uncivilized and uneducated about the things you throw your opinions at.
May 22nd 2010 10:06AM Could you choose to be gay? No. Just like a gay couldn't choose to be straight. Grow up.
May 22nd 2010 10:05AM ME isn't one of my favorite artists out there, but I respect her for her music and after reading her answers to these questions I only respect her more. Coexistence is the only way our future will happen. That means it shouldn't matter what your gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or how much you weight is. Everyone is a minority of some kind in this day and age.
May 22nd 2010 9:57AM Why is it so hard to believe in coexistence? If God didn't want gays, he wouldn't have created them.
