Nov 12th 2011 12:49AM Most political polls, which are designed to measure the opinions of hundreds of millions, only use a few thousand people as a sample size, so this study probably has a very large predictive value.
You do have a point that the gathering of the data may be flawed based on who was more likely to answer the poll, but there's nothing wrong with the sample size.
Sep 28th 2011 10:13AM It looks like we won't need critical heals to trigger the health increase:
"Ancestral Healing now also causes the shaman's heals to increase the target's maximum health ... does not apply to heals from procs."
My question is exactly which heals will apply the effect? Will ticks of riptide to it? It would be too simple if healing stream totem applied it so I'll assume it won't. What about bounces of chain heal?
Currently, I think of shaman as stronger tank healers and weaker group healers (when the group isn't stacked) than most healers. This change seems like it will cement the idea that you want the resto shaman in your raid healing your tank.
Mar 21st 2011 9:42PM Keep in mind that when Asaad casts his huge aoe spell, he first creates the triangular safe zone so that HE has something safe to stand in, the fact that random adventurers manage to get in is an unintended nuisance. But if he casts static cling on Ozruk and it gets reflected, or else Asaad gets paralyzed, Asaad will be stuck in place and won't be able to use his big aoe. Meanwhile, Ozruk will kill him with shatter.
Mar 6th 2011 5:16PM Will my current unspent justice points be reset when 4.1 goes live? Should I try to spend them all before 4.1 or will I be able to use them to buy tier-11 gear when it goes live?

Assassination rogues who like the spec will probably stick with it for an encounter that just briefly has a single addition target. In how many fights do you attack two targets standing next to each other for the entire duration? And if there are many targets, then you'll be more likely to use fan of knives anyway.
I think the change is less about making blade flurry OP, and more about the convenience of not needing to create a macro just to turn it off when your second target dies.
