Oct 6th 2010 10:50PM The cap was just hotfixed in recently. Try getting a character invited to that guild.
Oct 6th 2010 10:48PM @Diop: Because several of these guilds I've talked to were planning on merging together to make better use of guild perks in Cataclysm. Now, they can't do that. They're still affected by the change, just not in as direct a fashion that guilds over 600 characters are affected.
Oct 11th 2008 7:38PM Frozen Shadoweave was a ridiculously good shadow priest/affliction warlock set, because both specs scaled almost exclusively with +damage, and Frozen Shadoweave had virtually nothing besides damage, and school-specific damage to amplify its effectiveness. Basically, FSW was a set you could get as a fresh 70, and T5 was essentially a sidegrade.
This caused two main problems. One, not getting an upgrade until T5 is less fun, even if being overpowered is fun. Two, it gave people the (somewhat mistaken) impression that those two specs were overpowered. Shadow priests have subpar DPS scaling (something that WotLK attempts to correct), but when everyone else is in blues and you're running around in T5 levels of +damage, you're still going to outdamage them. Shadow priests retained a raid spot or two into Sunwell, but it's because of VT, not because of their low DPS.
