WoW Insider Show Episode 124 feat. Daryl Brewer and Fatty {WoW}

Jan 11th 2010 2:24PM O look at the sexist bigot come to feed the cesspool of idiots of the WoW Community. Oy, I hate to say it but Adam is right for once, she does have talent. If you can't understand that then you are clearly unfit to judge music in any standard, let alone provide your own misguided and incorrect opinions on the subject. What? Opinions can't be incorrect? Blasphemy! The OP is clearly showing evidence of the opposite. Two tips, if ya don't like something, just say it and move on, two, skip step one and just don't post. Have a nice day.

Why you don't have freedom of speech in WoW {WoW}

Dec 14th 2009 8:21PM Wow, I actually agree with something you posted, WELL DONE. I didn't think it possible.

I think Omacron has the best analogy to how things really are, though laws do apply to virtual spaces, it is the site owner that makes the judgment call on whether they will allow, disallow, ban, permaban or flat out slap with a 5 pound salmon the person that made the comment. This goes for World of Warcraft forums, ingame chat, and just about any other forum out there. It is usually in the terms of service and even then it is reserved by default. And just because something appears public (which do you call having to hold an active account public?) doesn't mean it is the Wild Wild West. It's like if I came over to your house while you were putting groceries away, ate all your food and left a floater in your toilet. Well, the door was open wasn't it? It's an extreme way to look at it but an accurate one of the misguided beliefs, trolls worldwide.

How the WoW community is about to push the self-destruct button {WoW}

Dec 13th 2009 12:11AM Honestly, this isn't gonna make a dang bit of difference. It might change one or two people's attitude towards the way they post (and I understand the, "if it affects one person, it is totally worth it" reasoning) but the majority of this minority (so let's say 30% of the playerbase and then take 90% of that) aren't going to stop unless you put a giant brick wall up and with a sign that says jump in order to post. And even then, people would bring TNT and blow the dang thing up.

So let's go worst case scenario, it is post WW3 (GC vs Angry Nerds) and GC is being invaded on all sides, he has no option than to escape on a rocket propelled pony and fly to the Blizzard moon base, and is never heard from again. (Sorry, trying to have a bit of fun) Anywho, is this the end of our "feedback" or the end of our chance to contribute? Absolutely not, and it is really a pity that you worded it the way you did. It sounds like without GC, Blizzard won't hear us and I have to take issue with that. Blizzard will hear us regardless of who is on the forums, or even if they have or don't have a forum at all for that matter. We've seen, time and again how Blizz actively looks for feedback, internally and externally.

So even in our worst case scenario, an apocalypse for the WoW gamer it is not. Just simply a GC-less community. And though that would be a shame, it wouldn't be the end of the world if it happened.

To conclude (ooooooo, so professional, to conclude, I feel special) the trolls do need to stop, but we don't need to throw out this idea that the trolls will somehow win and take the community with them. It just won't happen, period. It's like saying that old grumpy people will take over the world. They are quite the minority and act in many the same ways of these trolls, but (unless they are making an army) will never take over the world.

Now, I'm off to ask GC where he got his rocket propelled pony from and go buy one.

Ghostcrawler: Totem position will always matter {WoW}

Jun 15th 2009 9:25PM Seriously? This is what you are complaining about now? GC didn't say no btw he said that positioning matters... Not that they will never do it or that they don't plan on changing it in the future... Stop reading too much into it and complaining... Coming from you, you need to listen to your own words and find ways to adapt... Otherwise, don't play that class and move on. But then again you are running a site that is based off of how many posts you can spit out in a day and not about actually making quality posts...

Nevermind, don't listen to me at all, go on your way...

Breakfast Topic: What do you think of region-specific pets? {WoW}

Jun 15th 2009 11:59AM Are we forgetting the pigs? HELLO! China had their region only pet and the UK had 3 different murloc ones if I remember correctly for downtime and other random stuff... Not to mention the UK has stuff like crafting competitions that is unheard of in the US... Please check your facts before posting such bullocks.

AQ gates to be open on new realms {WoW}

Feb 12th 2009 9:09AM No what they mean is they don't want you wasting your time with AQ period... They want people to just move on! Probably will just remove it all-together eventually saying "lack of interest"... I have seen more and more responses from Blizzard like this when asking about Older Raid Content

Breakfast Topic: Should raid progression even be tracked anymore? {WoW}

Dec 4th 2008 4:20PM Should we track Breakfast Topics on RSS anymore? I mean is this what the status of WoW Insider has come, rolling your face on a keyboard and making an article? I mean I know writers are ready to hand over their logins to 23-25 non-trained monkeys but geeze. So should we waste our time with it?

Edit: This was just to be a jerk, but seriously make intellegent posts on this site, it really dumbs it down like the raiding scene in WoW when all you do is complain. Atleast make the complaining entertaining, monkeys are so 1970s now-a-days.
