Feb 17th 2012 10:15PM Umm... the stuff was primarily for two parents and three kids, not the dog. Yeah, I don't think she cared a bit.
Feb 17th 2012 9:12AM My family has had a similar story recently. We found out in January that our 12-year-old dog has lymphoma. She's doing okay for now, but our time with her is numbered.
My guild leader requested our address, and the next day we received a large (dog-themed) bouquet of flowers, some candy and treats, a large stuffed animal and a really nice card. My wife made the comment that it really put things into perspective for her as far as WoW being a community and not just "that game you're always playing".

Oct 24th 2011 9:00AM I will definitely roll a Pandaren monk, mostly to experience the new starter zones, etc. Beyond that, I probably won't roll a monk from another race. Not sure yet about a Pandaren of another class.
Oct 22nd 2011 8:50PM My sister-in-law and brother-in-law have played WoW together since they were dating. They kept pushing me to join them, and about a year after their first anniversary I finally transferred my level 80 toon to their server. He was a regular raider in one of the server's top raiding guilds, while she played mostly PvP and social in a casual guild.
Now that he's deployed with the military, WoW is still a way for all of us to stay in touch.
Oct 19th 2011 4:17PM Yeah, that last panel especially.
Great work as always, Kelly.
Oct 15th 2011 8:27AM The prevalence of magic in Azeroth doesn't preclude the basic concepts of physics and chemistry. Gunpowder was invented by the Chinese more than a thousand years ago. Leonardo da Vinci sketched a conceptual flying machine 500 years ago. Both of these came in the midst of what we would now consider rather feudal or medieval. We've even got two races - gnomes and goblins - that are widely known for their emphasis on tinkering and building things. So no, it's not really outside the realm of possibility to have both advanced magic and advanced engineering/mechanics.
