Burning Crusade weapon models 'mogged the most {WoW}

Dec 27th 2011 6:34PM I think the main problem was that all gear had very distinctive designs with flashy colors. If all your gear was out of one (design) set, it looked decent. However, once you started combining pieces of gear from different designs, you most likely started to look like a clown.

In defense of care packages and mandatory authenticators {WoW}

Jan 11th 2010 11:33AM Cataclysm isn't mandatory, it is optionary just like the authenticaters. The only difference is that a larger portion of the playerbase will buy it.

Drama Mamas: Mismatched ambitions in the Dungeon Finder {WoW}

Dec 25th 2009 6:07PM I agree. As a tank i require two things from dps in heroics:
know the tactics, (please, don't stand in the fire)
attack the skull, (I mark them for a reason, you know)

I only look at dps in HoR, in which high dps is actually a requirement to succesfully do the instance.

Dungeon Finder tricks and tips {WoW}

Dec 12th 2009 4:57PM I think it's server tradition. On my server everyone needs on orbs, but on some other servers it's greed. I do think greed rolling is more common on other servers.

Right now i always first look what others are doing and copy that. And it's not like the orbs worth ninja'ing. Most people who roll need are probably used to rolling need and forgot to look if others were rolling need or greed.

The Queue: The Hugh Hefner of Dragons {WoW}

Nov 16th 2009 1:13PM i believe those are gates to the emerald dream. They sometimes spawn a green dragon raid boss. But since nobody does level 60 raids anymore, not many people know about them.

Patch 3.3: Luck of the Draw buffs you for pugging {WoW}

Nov 7th 2009 4:42PM a far easier way to make groups for otherwise deserted instances?

NYT: GAPP and Ministry of Culture clashing over Chinese WoW regulation {WoW}

Nov 7th 2009 2:51PM Not on it self, but it might change the way people think about how a state shoud be run.
Just imagine what would happen if the horde and the alliance would be run like a republic in the same way Athene was run in ancient greek.

Every Chinees player would learn something about democracy and western thinking. That on it self isn't too much of a problem, but what if besides WoW also other games, movies and television series would be informing citizens about the "corrupting" ways of the western world.

The Chinees government has to keep all those sources of information about democracy and free thinking in-check or their citizens might rise up against them.

The Queue: Tooth explosion {WoW}

Nov 5th 2009 4:15PM I think I saw somewhere that you can choose wich dungeons you wish to be looking for. So if you don't want Occ you can just take it of the list of dungeons you're looking for.
With this you should be able to avoid the situation you're discribing.

The Light and How to Swing It: 3.2.2 means re-balancing... again {WoW}

Sep 24th 2009 4:05PM The point is there were problems in pvp and WoW isn't just a pve game. Wow is a pve and pvp game. The solution of changing the stat we need for threat from stamina to strength, which would only seem natural if you look at the basics of both stats, solved a big pvp problem withouth effecting pve to much. This change is should only effect our spell power slightly.
The real change to our threat comes from the rightous fury nerf. And if it turns out they nerfed us to hard then they will adjust either touch by light (more spell power per strength) or rightous defense (more threath).

Death to spell power plate {WoW}

Aug 11th 2009 8:52PM the broken part about spell power plate is a 10 men run without a pally healer and 4 spell power plate drops that have to be disenchanted
