Jan 13th 2011 8:58PM I'd be happy if Stonecore would at least give me some rep.
Jan 19th 2010 1:37PM When will Wow.com stop being the "New" Wow Insider? It's been wow.com for quite some time now. (In case you're wondering, it still says Wow.com: The New WoW Insider in the page title of the home page).
Jan 11th 2010 7:51PM It's not just about trash, I use my heroic throw all the time to wrangle adds in the Lady Deathwhisper fight. I don't think you understand how important that silence is for a pve prot warrior. I understand is has issues in pvp but it is immensely important for pve tanking.
As for reducing our damage and upping our threat that isn't the greatest solution in the world either, too many pve fights depend on the tank bringing a reasonable amount of dps to the table. Warriors are already at the low end, even after the devastate buff, bringing us down further only hurts our viability in serious pve content. A tank's job is not just to keep something attacking them but to also not be a dead weight on the dps charts.
But if I had to choose between the two for pve I'd choose a damage reduction over your suggested nerf to heroic throw.
I think they should just to warriors what they do to pallies and shamen, make some of their abilities not work in arenas, or work differently.
Jan 11th 2010 7:28PM That's not always a good idea given how other mobs in the are pat around.

Jan 11th 2010 7:22PM RE: Take the blanket silence off of Shield Bash and Heroic Throw. Change Gag Order into an interrupt effect.
This is bad for pve, if you do this then the prot warriors only way to pull a caster mob is now LoS. We need the silence on Heroic Throw at least.
Dec 23rd 2009 1:32PM Try using a site like http://pvewow.com It lets people rate other players and tells you the gear score and gives you a general sense of their progression.
Feb 17th 2009 11:45AM To eliminate healing shortage Blizzard needs to make healing fun. Making more healing classes that operate the same way as the other classes (watch healbot and press right or left mouse when yellow or red) isn't going to fix the problem, nor is duel speccing. Make it fun, make it where a healing class has to deal damage to heal (not as much as a dps class but let them do something besides what they are doing now: falling asleep at keyboard out of boredom). Make Warlocks, for instance, deal demonic damage and then assign heals to raid/group members based on that damage (maybe using some of the healing techniques from the Occulus and Malygos dragon/drakes). As long as the mechanics for healing remain the same I predict there will always be a healing shortage.
Jan 15th 2009 6:13PM They should change Warlocks such that they can go into demon form for as long as wanted (the current short time period makes the spell pretty useless except in rare circumstances (panic mode)). Then the warlock could either be another tank OR for fun they should come up with a completely new healing mechanic where the warlock dpses (a little) while being a viable healer. Sort of like how a druid can tank and dps at the same time. I'm imagining a demon healer that sucks the life from the enemies to keep his allies alive. Maybe something like a death knight but with lots less dps and a lot more healing. My warlock is such a borefest these days and my realm needs healers and no one wants to heal because it's boring. Make it fun!
