Oct 20th 2010 5:25AM Problem is though that WoW seems not to be as optimized for OSX compared to Win, strange considering Macs should be easier to optimize for.
My Mac Pro (2x2.66GHz Dual-Core Xeon, ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB, 11GB 667MHz FB-DIMM, 2x 500GB RAID0) couldn't really run WoW at full settings in crowded areas well, when friends with less firepower on Win machines seemed to do just fine.
Might there be a fix for this?
Jul 24th 2010 6:37AM Well, I can not fully agree.
For a paid stream, the quality was lacking, both in resolution as well as in lag.
Missing out on panels was also sad, and I hope this 4-channel thing fixes that.
Last but not least, RayVs support and information concerning the stream was horrific.
If all these things are fixed I'll be coming back, if they aren't, well, I'll probably be back anyway, but less happy.

Puppies dressed as cats totally get my vote! ^_^
Jun 10th 2010 10:15AM Then again I'm quite sure this won't affect most people, as I imagine a 'normal user' won't succeed 500MB.
Here in Sweden we still have carriers with unlimited plans, but myself I'm moving down from a 199SEK (20EUR) 10GB (that used to be unlimited) to a 69SEK (7EUR) 1GB plan when I'm getting the new iPhone.
I just don't use over 500MB in a normal month...
May 19th 2010 6:47AM As the people before me have said, lots of people.
I might try it out for a month just to see how it works, but not being a huge AH-addict I probably won't be renewing my subscription, even though it'd be kinda nice to work the AH a bit on the way to school/work.
Did anyone else react to them calling the service 'World of Warcraft Remote' (cutting off the 'Auction House' bit) when they talk about the subscription?
This makes me think they might add some additional features in the future.
$2.99 a month for remote AH and Guild Chat already seems a lot more tempting...
Add to that the possibilities with Real-ID, checking in on your iPhone on the train home and asking your Arena teammates / SC2 buddies if their up for a game when you get home, or telling your guild your gonna be a tad late for a raid.
I guess what I'm getting at is that if the AH bit doesn't seem tempting enough, I'm sure Blizzard will make the whole 'World of Warcraft Remote' thing juicy enough until you give in and part with your money.
Then again, I could just be misreading and seeming like a fool.

Jan 21st 2010 2:32PM Well, I'll have to agree it isn't the best machinima, but it's a nice recruitment video.
Better then our recruitment video at least. ^_^
