Ever been out to the bar with your buddies? You can literally piss away 50$ without even thinking about it. At least when I buy virtual items I get to hold on to them for a couple of years instead of hours.
Plus virtual items don't run you the risk of waking up next to someone you'd rather not wake up next to :*

I love how these people say: "Whenever I see someone on that mount I spit on them and laugh!" No you don't. No one cares if someone rides the sparkle pony. It doesn't say anything about a persons skill level. It doesn't say that they are a scub. It says they like the pretty horse. Nothing more.
Now they've started "clevery" calling the Guardian "TRL" on the forums. See what they did there? Clever.
