Oct 15th 2008 4:02PM huh? We set the first BT speed record of 1h 50m. Only very very recently beaten by a guild at 1h 48m less than a week before 3.0 when we were already saved to BT so we couldn't top them.
We also cleared SSC in under 2 hours before we'd finished BT over a year ago, which people said was impossible, etc.
We have a recent speed clear of SSC in under an hour.
So... I'm not sure what you're talking about, pretending we can only do Gruul's.
Linked earlier but, again, here's the BT speed vid that has gotten almost 100,000 views on WCM:

Oct 14th 2008 7:32PM Well the point is, people think it's all gear but it's not: it's really about moving quickly, knowing your class, and having people who don't have to have every mob marked in a pull.
Gear helps, but we clear quickly in even dungeons where we're progressing for the first time.
"Speed clears" aren't just fun, they're also good for making the most out of your game time.

Oct 14th 2008 7:26PM Yes, clear times include all trash always. It's from first mob engage to last mob death.
Oct 14th 2008 1:45PM I wrote InTheBuff -- it's a pretty key mod right now: it helps you navigate the new confusing world of the WotLK buff system.
It scans through your raidmembers, looking at their talent specs, and then brings up a window showing you what buffs are covered by whom and what buffs your raid doesn't have.
Buffs/debuffs can be moused over, and you will see who provides them currently, and what classes/specs are capable of providing it.
It works, we've been using it successfully on PTR/Beta for weeks, as have other guilds.
