For Gnomeregan! Distractions {WoW}

Jun 24th 2010 11:38PM Master speaks... I follow behind... Why do I exist here but not there? I hate this place.... Master says the words, "Shi rethile te!" I am compelled to move.... Again, his words move my bindings, "Te tiriosh kar!" I torment the matter before me... it turns to me. The matter looks like master. Many here look like master, but this one... he calls, "fah-ther". He yells at him.... "You forsake me!" then "Zila Rukadare..." and I am compelled to strike the "fah-ther" as master wishes. The "Fah-ther" moves to ground and is still, as many before. Master makes a sound.... Many times, he says he "laughs" at the non-moving... this sound is not the same.... Now, he bellows and shakes. He strikes at the "fah-ther" who no longer moves... Why does he? After a time, master is quiet.... He holds his arm to his eyes.... We leave.... Master walks too slowly. Send me back.

For Gnomeregan! Distractions {WoW}

Jun 13th 2010 4:56PM Today master summoned me.... I do not like this place. Very distracting. Too many... things.... Surfaces... why do you have them? Do you... like having... matter? Hard to get things done here.... Cannot see far enough.... Always things in the way.... I got stuck on a... you say "rock." Master called, but I could not obey.... Stuck on "rock." What he called... "wooof" ate him and he went to... other place for a time.... But, I was free again.... Master calls.... Must go.... I hate this place of yours....

More ideas for player housing {WoW}

Jul 24th 2009 2:11PM I'm attracted to some points of having my main chill in his own crib, but then there's a part of me that wants to say, "Look, if I want to play The Sims, I'll play The Sims."

Breakfast Topic: The rest of the movie's crew {WoW}

Jul 23rd 2009 10:20AM Bear McCreary from his haunting tribal drums and sweeping adagios on BSG should compose, of course! Or is it Bear "form" McCreary?

Patch 3.0.8: Analysis of Death Knight changes {WoW}

Dec 12th 2008 4:35AM I've run 4-5 instances with almost all DK's (me being the non-DK -- don't have WotLK) and so far healing hasn't been needed. CC hasn't really been needed, either. It's just a bunch of dudes running around spawning ghouls, making a lot of noises and light and basically tearing the place apart. I don't have a problem with it, per se, but it does look like there's really no need for any other class in the game if you've got all DK's. They're completely out of balance for the game, and I can't see how they warrant getting more powerful. That said, it is making me think I should go ahead and get Wrath, so I can junk my useless old Druid and Shammie for something that does it all.

Lichborne: Death Knight Tanking {WoW}

Nov 19th 2008 11:00AM And thank you, greatlothos, for proving my point. Way to be a class act! I'll bet you're the kind of fool who'd wipe a raid just to see if you can get top slot on the damage meter; just no sense of team play whatsoever. Well, it's all yours! Go pwn n00bs all day to help stave off the loneliness in your life.

Interview with a Gnome Death Knight {WoW}

Nov 17th 2008 5:46PM The reason is simple: Blizzard realized that about 90% turn your sound off and don't hear the work that goes into the game. With that documented knowledge, why on earth would they think anyone gives two hoots about the process?

Ask WoW Insider: Nodes and ninjas {WoW}

Nov 17th 2008 4:52PM This post really didn't answer the question of etiquette, unless you count the author, Mike, as being all but admitting he's a ninja (note to self: Never play on Mike's server). If I've been waiting there for some time for something to spawn, and another player just runs up w/ an AoE and tags the mob, then I consider that poor sportsmanship. Wait your turn, ninja! Or, at least join up.

Lichborne: Death Knight Tanking {WoW}

Nov 17th 2008 12:43PM I'm pretty sure it was established by Blizzard that the class was supposed to be in balance with the rest of the classes. The Hero part basically just boiled down to it starting at a higher level. The intent was a failure, or perhaps an intended OP to appease those who just plunked down more money for the expansion with an eye to nerf the class later. Regardless of the class' mechanics, the majority of those playing DKs have proven themselves to be at best a nuisance and a drain on gameplay for other DKs and regular classes alike. At any rate, it's no longer my problem. As I say, I'm out.

Lichborne: Death Knight Tanking {WoW}

Nov 17th 2008 10:13AM That's it. I can't take Outland any more. DK's are overpowered, this is a known fact. But they also tend to be the biggest a-holes playing right now. They're intentionally stealing other player's kills, camping quest sites, and as a class, single-handedly ruining the experience. The only joy to be gained is when they eventually bite off more than they can chew and eat it. Rare, of course, because they're so grossly imbalanced to gameplay.

I'm out. No more WoW for me. I don't want to be in Northrend when these idiots hit the appropriate level.
