Jan 18th 2010 3:11AM Just a bit of constructive criticism if you ever decide to do this again.
Ret's should not be using a "Blue" gem to activate their meta in PVE. They should be using a "Nightmare Tear" to satisfy the 1 blue requirement in the Relentless Earthseige Diamond.
The Blood Soaked Saronite Stompers are on many Best in Slot lists. While they may techinically be better for Warriors or Death Knights - you should point out that they are pretty much a ret's best option (till the Heroic versions).
In the future take a moment to read over the EJ thread and their thoughts on particular pieces of gear. Lots of less serious people wont do that - but as a 'professional' you should be.

I see no reason why Blizzard cant find some way to better match groups than arbitrarily sticking one over geared person in with 4 undergeared ones. A geared tank can carry an undergeared group - so can a healer - and I dont understand why it would be hard to pair geared DPS with at least one of those so they'd have a chance to enjoy the instance as well. It seems a bit unfair for only the unprepared players to get the most out of the new LFG.
Oct 24th 2009 2:35AM That should read "I'm pretty sure -faceroll right- hits it every time, or if your crit is low -faceroll left- should definitely nail it."
Explination ftl. Html ftw.
Oct 24th 2009 2:33AM Please... please dont tell me you actually need a buff mod to tell you when to cast exorcism. I'm pretty sure hits it every time, or if your crit is low should definitely nail it.
Oct 17th 2009 2:45AM Of course you wouldn't worry about this. You're a DW DK tank. You're life is hard enough remembering to unzip before you piss and looking at the letters drawn on the back of your shoe to remember right from left.
Sep 12th 2009 2:03AM Let me guess, you're a tank?
You've obviously never missed an enrage timer by 10% or had an overkill be less than 3k. 10% is huge for any aspect of this game, lets not pretend tanking is so special.
Are the tanking classes completely balanced? No. Is it worth taking a bad tank of one class over a skilled tank of another? No.
Imho it sounds like you've been passed over for groups and you'd like to blame it on a developer instead of learning your class - altho as a person who pugs a 5 man from time to time, i'd rather you spit out a lengthy retarded comment than let me die. Carry on.
Sep 6th 2009 1:43AM Whether this says more about the Ulduar10 Hard Modes or the ToC ones, I have no clue. Coming from a guild that has done every Uld10 Hard Mode multiple times (at least the ones on the meta, not Yogg0 or Alg226), we got face-raped by the Beasts in ToC10 Hard.
I'm pretty sure thats the way it ought to be. The top teir of guilds didnt have a problem and those at least above average should struggle some at the begining, but down it. But given Blizzard's current view on things, do we want to take bets on when the nerfs start? i give it 3 weeks.
Sep 6th 2009 1:37AM Unless a guild has had Ulduar25 Hard Modes on farm for months, the noticeable jump in item level should make it important enough for most guilds to even run 10s "in house."
My guild still measures progress by accomplishments in 25s, but there is a significant difference in performance from people decked out in 232s vs 219s-226s. At the beginning of new Hard Mode attempts, min/maxing becomes fairly consequential, and I dont see why you'd want to let 245 weapons not reach your best DPS because you couldnt spend 90 minutes running 2-3 10man groups.
Is it cheating if your guild primarily runs 25s? No. Is it worthwhile for even 25man guilds to fit this welfare program of an instance into their raiding schedule till people have the gear they need? God yes.
Aug 22nd 2009 3:33AM I cant think of the number of arenas i had to do before I could cut epic gems. I hear once I hit 2200 I'll get to cut a "get over it" gem for when I only want to experience one small aspect of this game.
Aug 11th 2009 2:43AM How about we let my warrior spec into a 41 point talent that lets me drop an axe on the ground that healers can run and click every time they want to do some damage? Or maybe up the prot tree i can put my shield on the ground and players can click on it when the boss needs to be tanked?
Oh wait... that would be re-goddam-diculous.
Don't waste the talent point and make your dps learn to stand just a little bit outside the fire. Something tells me most healers would prefer that than a 6 second HoT that is barely equivalent to a Flash of Light
