PlanetSide 2 devs answer questions via Twitter {Massively}

Sep 28th 2011 8:33PM "BFRs will not be returning"

My anti-F2P armor is beginning to weaken.

BioWare confirms no SWTOR beta this weekend {Massively}

Sep 8th 2011 6:56PM @(Unverified) Because my short little post implied everything you said. Thanks for the hasty generalizations!

My experience with betas tend to trend towards the following:

1. People like the direction the game is going
2. These people make recommendations for fixes/changes
3. The marketing twerps read the forums, ignoring the changes that are recommended
4. The game launches with the bugs that needed fixing or changing because hype got the better of sales.

But hey, you keep hating on us plebs.

The Queue: Panda-free {WoW}

Aug 4th 2011 12:15PM Bah, that should be Sulfuras. My apologies.

The Queue: Panda-free {WoW}

Aug 4th 2011 12:14PM I don't know what it is, but it seems to me that legendary weapons don't feel so legendary. People still to this day talk about Thunderfury and Sulfaras. Val'anyr (sp?) and Shadowmourne seems somewhat ho-hum. I couldn't even tell you the name of the new staff. Why don't the newer legendaries feel as epic as the old ones?

Global Agenda gifting AP to booster account holders {Massively}

Jul 16th 2011 5:35PM "spend real-life money on optional character items."

While the *majority* of the items available for only AP are cosmetic in nature, there are also actual game-changing weapons that can be purchased with them.

Not to mention that every single item that can be purchased with game earned tokens in the game can also be outright bought with Agenda Points.

Thanks for breaking your cool game Hi-Rez.

Global Agenda braces for the impact of patch 1.42 {Massively}

May 25th 2011 2:13PM @extispex

You seem to either forget or are unaware that the ability to change your appearance (Hair, face) can only be done through Agenda Points.

Updated: Global Agenda adopting free-to-play model {Massively}

Apr 7th 2011 11:12AM @Alboreo

The queues can get pretty rough at times, but it's more to do with classes people select to play rather than population. There are plenty of people online to play with.

SOE layoffs affect timetable for PlanetSide Next [Updated] {Massively}

Apr 4th 2011 11:09AM So here's the original quote from Smedley:

"We're looking at late first quarter, early second quarter [2011]," says SOE head honcho John Smedley in regard to the long-awaited PlanetSide sequel. Players will have to wait a bit longer to get their espionage fix, as The Agency is still slated to arrive "late this year."

That's from the article here back in January. Ref:

So, what I'm being told is that the nearly finished PlanetSide Next is going to be delayed because of the cancellation of a game that was NOT near release and the associated layoffs.

Smedley entices us with the first image from PlanetSide Next {Massively}

Jan 23rd 2011 6:25PM That's a very nice looking Vanguard. Can't wait to see the Magrider.

I'd like to see them do everything they did do to the game (caverns included), just no BFRs.

Player poll results and future plans for Final Fantasy XIV {Massively}

Jan 21st 2011 1:41PM How about focusing on getting the game to run at all before working on gameplay tweaks? I can't experience the crappy UI, awful auction house and bland quest lines if I can't even get the game to start properly.
