Apr 2nd 2012 6:00PM Anybody else who got in beta this year - who was in beta previously - login, create a monk, load into the server...and immediately logout of the monk after the first few quests? I don't ever remember beta being so crowded...but then I remembered. Annual Pass. Argh.
I'm also sad to see the bug reporting tool is not there anymore... That was the best part of beta for me. Reporting bugs and not just playing the beta. :*(
Apr 1st 2012 1:36PM having been in cata beta, i loved the bug reporting tool. miss it in MoP. :(
Mar 26th 2012 7:13PM Howling Fjord. I don't know how many people I had to correct about this one.
Several people in my WotLK guild would say "fuh-jord" - pronouncing the J, which is incorrect. It's pronounced "fee-yord". That one really irked me.
Mar 23rd 2012 9:43PM she looks in pain, not ugly.
Mar 23rd 2012 9:43PM Thrall...but he wouldn't do something like that to Jaina.
Mar 23rd 2012 8:04PM The other thing I thought about after re-reading what was said during the Press Tour and all these comments are these things:
1.) This will be in the final patch of MoP. i.e. - pre-next-expansion patch.
2.) Most likely like every pre-xpac-patch, will be setting up for the next expansion.
3.) Garrosh is going to do something so horrid that both Horde and Alliance agree - he needs to be removed from power.
4.) He's doing something "under orgrimmar" (which to be honest, is opposite of the quest he gives you that thrall used to give for Ragefire Chasm).
5.) This either has to do with The Burning Crusade - or an Old God. If there is any further excavations of the cave system below org that is RFC - I'd say Old God.
6.) It could be something none of us have thought about yet or some famous world boss or something.
I'm leaning a little towards Burning Legion - and a tie-in to the next xpac which I'm guessing will have Queen Azshara as a primary evil boss (granted we've seen her in the past in the Well of Eternity 5 man, but not CURRENT form). Azshara has ties to Sargeras and the Burning Legion.
I'm willing to guess that Outlands will be re-visited in the xpac after MoP - and possibly a lot more underwater zones as well...
Mar 23rd 2012 2:07PM my guess is he gets controlled or possessed by an Old God.
although I'd rather see him banished to Outlands than see him killed.
let him think about all the bad he's done - and go to Outlands to really do some good.
Mar 19th 2012 10:17PM Every time I read an interview from Metzen or hear him talk at the past couple Blizzcon's, I get doubly excitied for the next expansion. I mean, I was a little excited...but I'm extremely excited as usual (I shouldn't be surprised), b/c I've become such a lore nut for Warcraft Lore. I went from being clueless about Warcraft Lore when WoW came out - to obsessed with getting into it and reading it and such. It's such a great World and universe to enjoy. There is so much content they can give us in the future beyond MoP b/c of how much Lore. Cannot wait.
Also on a side note, I partially agree with the guy earlier about taking out Garrosh - although my opinion is I'd love to see Horde and Alliance work together - and see Thrall and Varian shake hands afterwards - and Varian say something like "this is for our children's children"...
Which would be a great point to see another Villian show up and destroy the temporary peace once again. :)
Mar 15th 2012 10:17PM Kill daily quests? No. Make then randomized? Sure. I for one enjoy dailies at least on my first toon - after that it becomes a grind and not as fun...
The idea I had that would be neat for end-game content...was gradual class-based quests people could work on that had lore and story and give you something neat in the end (like a /use item that does something cool).
For instance, they could revamp Ravenholdt for Rogues - or add more stuff for Warlocks in an instanced version of the demons homeworld - or something cool for pallies with the Argent Dawn people - or something neat for Shaman (in addition to a decent legendary down the road for them someday, maybe questline involves Thrall - hunters could do something fun with and for Rexxar. Etc.
There is so much lore around every class in this game that they could add post-90, non-raid, non-dungeon quests that would be fun and enjoyable. A little bit like some of the quests in SWTOR for example. Be kinda neat.
Mar 10th 2012 3:43PM I kinda like the Arthas WoW action figure I have on my mantle already and it didn't cost nearly as much as this thing does... 33% of the price you are paying for this is b/c it's from Sideshow.
