Oct 19th 2009 7:17PM On the walls in ToC, there are 2 horde emblems on the horde side, and 2 alliance emblems on the alliance side, which makes since. But, if you look on the left hand side of the alliance emblem, you will see 12 hash marks on it, like they were counting kills or something along those lines... any idea what these 12 hash marks actually stand for?
Oct 15th 2009 8:09PM Actually i think the loosing your aparment argument is closer then the netflix one...
If you cant get netflix anymore, all you have to do is go to blockbuster.com and get the deliver to home thing they do.
If you end up having to move out of your apartment, you will be starting over regardless how much work you put into that place (such as paint, gardens, etc). Would be the same if you stopped playing WoW and went to LotR or Warhammer, because you would have to start from lvl 1 with nothing and begin all over again.... of course loosing your apartment is a much bigger deal, but in comparison its alot more similar then loosing netflix... imo that is =)
Oct 12th 2009 5:01PM If you hate it when people stand on questgivers/flightmasters, I bet you hate people like me who will divert into a small horde town, kill the questgivers/flightmaster, and then leave before anyone knows what hit them.... and you cant really report for this either because pvp in cities/towns are part of the game regardless what type of server you are on.
Point is, just chill a bit, and stop being nit-picky about everything. Yeah its rude to stand on the flight master in dalaran, but as someone stated earlier, the easiest solution is to hit them with babyspice and keep going.
Aug 14th 2009 9:34AM OK, with all this Nerf to Pallies things.... does it really matter? My main is a prot pally with a 2400+ gear score... im stacking unbuffed 2849 Stam and 1193 Str, so yes my SP is going down some... along with my threat and dmg... But any Prot Pally who has tanked beside another tank knows that we pull more threat then any other class who is equally geared (and some times when they have us outgeared), and most of the time do more dmg then any other tank (Along with some dps occasionally).
Yes, this is a nerf to Prot Pallies, but anyone who is objective on this will aggree that when it comes to tanking we have been a bit OP lately, and this is just to even out the playing field for the other tanks out there
(Yeah, I know... a objective paladin who isn't QQing about a nerf.... what is wrong with me?) =P
Mar 5th 2009 11:54AM @ Gessilea
I don't think it's because of Vista... don't get me wrong I much prefer XP over Vista, but i so happen to have 2 laptops i bought during the last 2 years, each one has Vista on it and I haven't had a problem running wow on them yet, with all the addons i run.
How much Ram do you have on your set up? If you don't have much, you can always turn down alot of your settings ingame and make sure you don't have alot of programs running in the background that is slowing you down. If you havent done so lately check for adware running in the background, that may be a reason its slowing you down as well.
Just a thought. Hope it helps.
Mar 4th 2009 3:51PM I do like Hawaiian Pizza, but i would say the best pizza ever is "Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza." You can only get it from those hometown like pizza parlors... if they make it that is. But i gotta say, it is the best pizza ever.
Feb 4th 2009 11:15PM actually if you take the proc into consideration, the essence trinket is not the hightest stat.... this is why.
The trinket gives you a +90 boost to one of those 4 stats the entire time.
For 15 out of 60 seconds, you will have +300 boost to that stat.
So, if you average out the +90 boost for 45 seconds, and +390 boost for the 15 seconds, it averages 142.5 boost (if i did my math right, its late here) to that stat per every minute of use... let alond the trash pulls that will not even last anywhere close to a minute in dungeons. So therefore, as of now, this does give the most boost to any stat out there...
Now I just wish Blizzard would make it possible for a stamina one, because all us tanks out there woudl get it =P
Jan 26th 2009 6:13PM Another buff mod that I use exclusivly on paladins is "PallyPower."
It makes it possible for you to easily coordinate the buffs given out by all paladins in the entire party/raid, to prevent confusion on buffs (was really nice pre-wotlk when we had an additional buff). It also gives you a bar that you just click on for each class, that will automatically buff everyone in that class if you left click, or right click to give that one person the 10 min version so you dont waste a regeant. Has a timer for each class that tells you when to rebuff, and it automatically clears our when it sees someone dies.
And for you prot pallies, it even has a button for righteous fury, that you just click to buff and has a timer for you.
When I lead raids in my guild, I require all Pallies to have this addon because it makes my job alot easier by just going in and assigning who buffs what myself, and then they just gotta click to give.
Jan 18th 2009 1:55PM This is how I run my raids when it comes to loot. I also keep master looter on myself to prevent someone from taking a piece that would better fit someone else.
When a piece drops (such as a spellpower cloth belt) I give the option for the classes that can only use cloth and uses spellpower to roll on it first. Now, if they all pass, i give the options to other mainspec casters to take it, regardless what class and what armor they can wear. If they all pass, I give to any class offspec.
Also, lets say 2 pieces of cloth gear drops from 2 bosses in a row... what I do is the caster who won the first piece, automatically passes on the second one until all casters get 1 piece. Now once they all won something, or someone passes, then I give the other clothies a chance to roll on it regardless if they won a piece already or not. And once again, if they all pass, i give the shamans/pallies/druids a chance to roll on it.
The reason that I give clothies precedence when it comes to cloth gear is that they can ONLY wear cloth gear, which means they have a much limited chance on what gear they can get compared to the paladin in the group who can wear ALL the types of armor. Because if you look at it, a paladin in a normal Naxx run would have a much higher chance to win a piece of healing gear as a priest, just because of the options that they have.
BoE blues / purp gear I treat the same way as a BoP. If its a main set and you havent won anything, roll need. Offset or different type of armor, pass for the time being. If they all pass, then open it up to other classes for main sets first, then offsets. If everyone passes, I either put it in the guild bank if its a guild only run (which only officers can take out of that specifc tab to give to others) or let people roll on it if its an pug.
Dec 16th 2008 1:25PM Guys, come on... give the person a break. Who cares that she makes grammer mistakes in her articles... no one person is perfect. But if you really care that much about grammer, think about it this way... did you pay Amanda to write this article? No you did not, so STFU and just appreciate that she took the time to put forth an effort to write an article for wowinsider.
Don't worry Amanda, I got your back (god knows i make enough spelling and grammer mistakes)
