Jan 19th 2012 8:27AM Doesn't DBM have a victory theme option? Think the default sound file is the Final Fantasy one, but you can add any MP3 you like, from memory. :)
Jan 14th 2012 5:50PM Not to mention the Nesingwary Expedition to keep you busy. ;)
Jan 14th 2012 9:00AM Ooh, I'm in an article! Thanks for the five minutes of fame, WoW Insider. :D
Jan 12th 2012 1:45PM I have autorun bound on that button. Laziness ftw.
Jan 7th 2012 8:38AM Male, with a male main and a selection of alts (currently three of each gender that I actively play). I know some players consider their toons to be extensions of themselves (1st-person narrative), but personally I see them more as other people whose adventures I am following (3rd-person narrative). So gender isn't too important really, although with so many games placing you in a lead male role, having a few female protagonists around is no bad thing.
Jan 5th 2012 3:07PM In Borean Tundra I believe, there was a short NPC conversation about the heroes joining the assault on the Frozen Throne. They didn't give names obviously, but referred to players by their titles, including "our illustrious Scarab Lord" (the player who opened AQ) and the "Hands of A'dal" (players who originally raided Black Temple).
I guess it might add a bit of colour to include that sort of text elsewhere in the game too, the start of Northrend is the only time I've seen anything like it before.
Jan 5th 2012 8:26AM In a way it's kinda nice not to be Public Hero Number One for a change. Pretty much every offline game ever puts you in the role of the protagonist destined to save the world or whatever, so it's nice to play a game where there isn't a main character, there is no single great hero. Variety is the spice of life, and all that.
Jan 4th 2012 9:13AM Shapeshifting is the sole reason I rolled a Druid as my main character, six years ago. I regret nothing. :)
