Feb 9th 2009 2:05PM Your guild =/= every guild. Your raid schedule is not relevant. Not everyone is "plowing through the content". Some people are very happy to be in casual guilds that are just starting 10 man content.
That said, it sounds like the OP's guild is making strong progress, and if everyone's happy, it's a good thing. Hope he's not disappointed that life moves on without one person and doesn't get hung up on the ego thing. A lot can change for DPS between a month of gearing and patch changes. Make sure you're up to date on any changes for your class - eg. if you're still playing BM the way BM worked a month ago, no wonder your DPS has fallen. If your guildies have T7.5 and you're in heroic blues, no wonder you're not topping the meters.
Feb 3rd 2009 3:50PM I do this too, and never noticed it until unlocking the Hyldnir dailies - I always end up jumping in the air as a big blue lady and keeping going. I love the Hyldnir costume + flight form.
Jan 30th 2009 2:13PM This makes me feel so much less crazy. I'd swear up and down I'm better at aiming than flying to Wintergrasp always made me feel. (I like to parachute in on the south side to farm eternals, rather than portal in.)
Jan 28th 2009 12:56PM Druid here - I actually prefer if locks lifetap immediately after the pull, or during the pull if they need. The locks I run with on a regular basis get a hot mid-combat as a sign that they're free to LT to their hearts content. I've got more mana than I know what to do with most fights, why shouldn't I share the wealth and keep the pace up? LT Responsibly and that LB I threw on you will bring you back to full.
If you lifetap to 10% during a pull, I will let you die if you get splash damage. That's your own damn fault and you're FREAKING ME OUT. Yes, I pay attention to the fight, but when it comes down to it, you're a little green bar to me and the first thing I notice is OMG SOMEONE'S DYING.
Jan 22nd 2009 2:16PM Uh, grats on your epeen? How is this relevant?
Dec 16th 2008 4:59PM If you find $100 in the gutter, no idea where it came from, awesome.
If you watch someone accidentally drop $100 in the gutter and don't give it back, you're a jerk. If you turn to your friends and gloat about what a butterfingers that poor schmuck was, you're a jerk and an idiot.
Dec 12th 2008 1:17PM Some of that "epic" feeling isn't because the game has changed, it's because you're used to it. I've been playing about 6 months, and I remember running from Booty Bay to Blasted Lands through the Burning Steppes and Kara and BRS, and being totally terrified. It was awe-inspiring because I was new, not because the game is less epic now. I also remember struggling like hell to buy my first mount at 30 - money is easier because I've learned the economy & professions, not just because the game throws money at you. The first time a world blue BoE dropped for me, I was still shocked. Noobs are still Noobs.
I'm glad I don't remember non-connected flight paths, or non-sparkling quest items. I'm sorry I will never get to experience 40mans the way they were intended.
Nov 11th 2008 11:29AM It's "easy" to get that kind of money IF you're already a geared up 70! I'm stuck in the ignoble position of hitting 70 sometime a few days after Wrath hits and I will have just enough for a flying mount and pocket change.
Does Blizzard expect new players who are coming through after Northrend opens to spend a lot of time at 70 to get the gold for new professions, etc? Especially when no one will be buying the 350-ish craftables or 70s drops ever again?
Oct 17th 2008 4:06PM pst: your link to Nature's Grasp actually links to Nature's Grace.
