Sep 4th 2009 10:17PM Don't forget the Orcs Killed his Father, burnt down his entire kingdom, and sent him fleeing.
Then, later, the same horde marches on Lordaeron. Doomhammer himself killed his Adoptive father in a shady fashion. So, Varian should forgive the same people that destroyed all he cared about? Riiiiigghhhttt, and Quillboars fly.
Oh and before someone says "But it's a New horde! The days of Doomhammer and Gul'dan are over!" Oh yeah? what does Varian see. Orcs, who encroach on his lands and seem as bloodthirsty as ever. Forsaken, who killed many of his soldiers at the wrath gate, and have stolen the Lands that he was raised in. Barbaric, viscous trolls who served the Horde in every conflict between them, and traitorous Blood elves who turned their backs on the Alliance at whole and who allied with Demons and Monsters because of one human. This may not be how the horde really is, just what it seems like to an outsider.
Sep 4th 2009 10:05PM Good news about Fandral though, I don't foresee him in power for much longer. Furions coming back, and last I checked, he was the Archdruid of the Night elves, Staghelm was just for the interim. Unless Ysera decides to haul his ass back to the dream after we kick Raggy in the ass again.
On another topic, why does the rest of the world care if the World tree gets burnt again? It really will only affect the Night elves.
Aug 28th 2009 9:15PM Samwise Diddier is rolling in his grave. Oh, he's not dead? Time to fix that.
Aug 28th 2009 9:09PM When did anyone go back in time to teach major lore characters everything they know? Oh you mean the War of the Ancients trilogy? Where he used a now established, canon plot device, (which is Nozdormu sending adventurers back in time to rectify things fouled up by old gods) and they happen upon major lore characters. Nobody really taught anybody anything, except Rhonin allowing Illidan to tap into the Arcane more. Okay, I take that back. Rhonin Pretty much the sole cause of Illidans misfortune. sigh.
Tl:dr, or if more likely my ramblings have confused anybody, My point is, nobody went back in time to teach anybody anything.
Aug 15th 2009 12:04PM They are no longer Arthas and Ner'zhul, they're just the Lich King now. They are, for lack of a better term, inseparable.
Aug 15th 2009 11:54AM Now THAT was a well thought out and interesting comment, which builds on the conversation. I believe you actually give back to humanity, and not that you expect EVERYTHING I also that you are a valuable human being, not some idiot trolling a WoW fansite.
*Note how that reeks of sarcasm, and in fact my opinion of you is summed up in some words not fit for human consumption.
Aug 15th 2009 11:48AM That's cause he's dead.
Aug 15th 2009 11:45AM Anyone remember the First death knights? Orc spirits put into human bodies? Or The Lich king for that matter, he was created when an Orc spirit, Ner'zhul, was merged with a human body, Arthas. I think, since the Lich king has an orc spirit, Saurfang's, and a human body, Bolvar's, I believe he will make a traditional death knight. And it will be a boss.
