The price of a game time refund {WoW}

Oct 24th 2008 2:56PM I have to be honest the free day or free time is not really a big deal and easily forgotten. What they should do is to come up with some customer support reward items. A trinket or relic, something people will see in the bag or bank to remind them of how Blizzard appreciates the patronage and wants to make amends for the problematic gameplay. Simple suggestion with significant logistic involved - but who cares about a free day or even month really - you can't even go out to a decent dinner with a free month refund - maybe McDonalds. But I would remember a cool vanity pet, trinket or cool consumable that turns me into a Troll or something.

Breakfast Topic: Are server outages driving you to other games? {WoW}

Oct 20th 2008 9:00AM I have Warhammer online, I got the account setup for 3 months, told a friend of mine I would give it a try. I don't know how to describe it since there are many things common. I never was into PvP until I played Warhammer. I came back to WoW and actually enjoy PvP much more. I just like the overall feel of WoW and the fact I have 2 level 70s it's hard to throw away the time and effort spent, the guild and people you've been playing with for a while. I am waiting for my GM ticket to be responded to, I lost Arathi Basin marks in a server disconnect in the middle of a purchase for shoulders. I accepted to spend the marks and honor - waiting, waiting, hmm where are my shoulders, then server disconnect. When I log back in I am back int he war room in bear form - no shoulders, I still have my honor, but the 20 Arathi marks are gone. I hope blizzard tracks that info and they give me those back since Alliance (non-premade) doesn't often win it was chunk of time spent with maybe 4 wins so 12 marks plus another 8 loss runs. How they handle this will be my deciding factor
