Feb 9th 2011 9:01PM There are many people who have canceled subs over it. Over at the blizzard general discussion forum there are 1750 posts (and growing) and 88 pages of responses in what, 31 hours? People are angry about this and I for one don't blame them. There was no warning about it and the Patch notes didn't even contain information about the removal until after it was done.
For me, I never ever considered going after 'the Exalted' cause I'd rather hit myself in the head with a hammer than grind out 40 exalted rep. But I know people who did, and truthfully, Exalted, to me, was one of the only titles that really meant something, the other was 'the Seeker'.
For those who spent, weeks, months and in some cases, years attempting to achieve these titles I completely understand the rage. I remember downing the LK with an awesome bunch of people and everyone ran around with 'the Kingslayer' titles proudly displayed except one of my best friends in game who was still sporting 'the Exalted'. I asked him about it and he laughed and said, "Kingslayer took a night, Exalted took 14 months, I'll never wear anything else".
I think for Blizz to just arbitrarily dismiss all the effort it took to obtain that title shows how distanced the company has moved from the most loyal fanbase in gaming. They could have at least gave the old 40 rep title a humorous one like 'the formerly Exalted' or something. Instead of big fat zilch-o.
Jan 5th 2011 1:46PM My first character, a female troll was named Kes (i'm male, no reason to name her Kes or to play a femaie, wanted to know if female characters played differently and I liked her) then came a ton of toons from Donaldsons's Covenant series (Landwaster, Mhoram, Covenant), a tribute to Jerry Garcia and his first band, The Warlocks, (Fourfingers), a nod to my first gaming love, the quake series and the Grateful Dead (Darkstarr), a tribute to Roger Zelazny's Lord of Light novel (Mahasamatman) and last but certainly not least, a toon from my D&D days, and NO not the computer version of D&D (Vardos).
Jeez louise, this makes me a geek!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR FAAACCCEEE!!!!
Dec 29th 2009 1:42AM They are probably relatives of the great beasts of Caerbannog with their nasty, big, pointy teeth, They are extremely dangerous.
In the old days, if you could get past these terrible creatures you'd have to face the Legendary Black Beast of Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh. But you can only face it if you get past the great beasts of Caerbannog and the only way you can get past them is to use a Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch after consulting the Book of Armaments, Chapter 2, verses 9-21.
Good luck finding those two items. I've been looking for them for the longest time but I've never, ever seen them. Blizz must have really nerf'd the drop rate for them.
Dec 15th 2009 1:31AM I would remind everyone, that The Knights who say Ni are the keepers of the sacred words: Ni, Peng, and Neee-Wom. No one should use these sacred words irresponsibly.
Because of this, you do not have the right to yell "Ni" in a crowded theatre.
That is beyond your 1st Amendment rights.

Dec 13th 2009 5:29AM To the "those who dissent don't come close to the majority" argument, the problem with this argument is that most people who have problems with the game don't post here on wow.com or on blizz' forums, you know what they do?
I have been playing this game since its inception, and I've had a lot of friends who have left the game. Only about 20% have left because 'real life' caused them to leave. The majority have left over dissatisfaction with the direction the game is going. I have a friend right now who is really close to leaving over all the quests 3.3 broke. His main argument is, 'well heck look how long it took them to fix Felspine the Greater. At this rate, with this many quests broken, it will take them until Cataclysm to fix all the broken quests'. Is he being unrealistic? Maybe, but doesn't a paying customer have any right to demand some amount of Quality Control in a game he's paying good money for?
And although some people act childish and ridiculous in their criticism of the devs, when you see mistakes being made (and to be honest, some ARE made repeatedly) to a game people have devoted so much time to, is their disappointment/frustration/anger all that surprising?
In the end, if you take all of the people who have left the game because of dissatisfaction with the game, they no longer are a minority, and if blizzard refuses to at least ACKNOWLEDGE the concerns of its subscribers, then they, not us, will be the ones pushing the self-destruct button.
Aug 6th 2009 12:31AM One thing that should be fixed is the ability for players to interrupt the joust quests so the npc bugs out and says 'the fight is taking too long, I'm gonna go have a pint' or whatever it is they say...
