Jun 23rd 2011 11:18AM Oh man... I remember, I used to just WAIT for ask a beta tester, I wanted to hear EVERYTHING there was on the xpac. I think that's about the time I got back into WoW too... I saw an article for some reason, and got interested again and started raiding then lead a server first guild then it fell apart and now I'm a shadow of my former self... :[
May 2nd 2011 9:48AM Just like in the level 70's version! I remember when I came back to WoW and became hardcore for the first time, even though I was slightly under-geared, they would take me everytime on ZA runs to Tranq Halazzi since it was the only way to get rid of the enrage. I remember standing still though... don't remember the healing totems.
Mar 15th 2010 1:50PM Awesome read!
But he starts talking about Having "X" crit and such, made me think he was going to mention that but didn't. What is it?
Just want to make sure I'm going the right way. I've swtiched to full ArP build right now, my current stats:
ArP: 1193 (83.53) (passive with gems)
Crit: 968 (50.33%)
Is it to soon to go straight ArP? Wonder if I should wait until I'm able to hit hard cap or if I'm even close to that.
Feb 18th 2010 10:21AM What? Hunters have tanked way more then this. Remember KT in The Eye? We tanked the bow. Mimiron's head in P2? We did that, too! The Forst Wyrms in Mt. Hyjal? Have at it! This is nothing new!
Dec 29th 2009 10:45PM Why do this? The author makes it sound SO tempting but...it's cake anway =-\
I've tanked it several times on my alt.
Dec 23rd 2009 2:50PM My tank is a bit undergeared...I got some BoE from Ulduar and such, but nothing to great. I have mix of Purples and Blues, from 245 Sigil to 174 neck peice. I run heriocs for badges and to gain experience and gear up to be better. When I started, I queued up as DPS, and asked the tank if he needed gear from here (usually didn't) so I could roll on it.
It seems, even in my gear, I can tank anything, but on Heroic I haven't done PoS, and I tried but failed at HoR. Before (and now), if I feel I'm to undergeared to tank the instance, I'll see if anyone elses offspec tank is better then mine and see if they want to do it, if not I apoogize and leave the group instead of wasting their time.
Dec 21st 2009 7:29PM OK HEAR MY PLEA!
I agree, the healer does set the tone. I am ok geared, some ToC 10/25 and ICC 10 on me, but a smart healer. I went into H HoR. The pally tanks name was Hitrating. I asked him if he was hit capped as a joke, and he said, "you mean def capped, dumbass?"
Then inspected him, and he was one of those fails that puts down they are a tank when they really aren't just to get in a group. He was in blues and other item lvl 200 gear. I had to work at it, but we didn't wipe once. It got close, though. Then at the end, I said how amazed I was I was about to keep him up in blues like that, and they all said he was great and awesome and that I should go f*ck myself.
SO, the healer does make the group, but it's the tank that gets all the credit.
But I have noticed how right you are, when I was undergeared, heroics were HARD, but now I can usually breeze though them.
Dec 9th 2009 4:40PM I can't beleive this. They are making it MUCH easier then it was! It's also that MUCH better of an item! How the hell is 2 crystalized ANYTHING hard to come by? Those are so easy to get! It's not an ETERNAL, it's the SHARDS of them! 2 and your done. That's easier to make then the ones now!
All you do is down the first 4 bosses, and you get 4 of those new orbs. Or, use the easy as ever Frost badges (23) to get the orb. Any good rogue has engineering, and plenty leveled it late and haven't choosen a side yet. I went Blacksmithing for the extra gem slots and never picked a specific "Armor" or "Weapon" specialist. These patterns are so easy to get and so easy to make I can't fathom that people are QQing.
Nov 27th 2009 1:50PM I DID quit once...back in vanilla, it wasn't out very long, I was leveling to get to 60. About lvl 56 I think, build was already in MC. I was due to be married. It wasn't going to well, she blamed me for tons of issues, not working hard enough, and playing to many games in my free time. So I cancelled it all and worked 2 jobs, but we split almost right after that. It wasn't until one day I started playing DotA on WarCraft 3. I met some friends that I played with regularly, and they played WoW. They got me to buy up the new expansion right before it came out, so I got the CE of BC. I tried leveling...but I've never been max level. They were Horde, so I had a Belf Mage I never got past lvl 40, and I had a Nelf Priest that was 56, and I think I got that one to around 74. Then slowly lost interest and the girls in my life took up to much time again.
Finally, I still played DotA from time to time, and some new friends got me to try it AGAIN! This time, I made a Hunter, and I leveled FAST. I got actually got to 70, and they started taking me on Heroics.
Now, I'm 80, and I am the guild leader of a top progression guild. Before, it was easy to quit or phase out...now, I don't know. I REALLY love the lore and want to see the story, but I feel "trapped" into my position. I can't just stop playing one day with a below 80 toon or something. I feel it could be soon when I stop, or it could be never lol, as long as I'm where I am now.
Oct 22nd 2009 10:44AM So, do a KT or Thorim formation. Spores come out. If it's melee, they make sure they are in range of each other, if range, they quickly group up. On 25-man you would have 2 groups of range semi spread out. Then DPS. Win.
Cleaver battle, but just boils down to the normal spread out, just if you get the arrow on your head move close together, kind of like Hodir when you get the crit buff...and that's it. I'd like to hear about the other guy, it looks more complicated from the video.
