World of Warcraft: Cataclysm targeted for a 2010 release date {WoW}

Aug 25th 2009 9:19AM What rubbish - That's like saying you have a document in Notepad and you want it in Word so you'll type it all out again. Just load it in Word and add the fancy bits.

The Azeroth terrain isnt in the wrong "format" for flying - its just that bits you'd never see when walking, riding or on taxi were never finished neatly - if you could fly then they would become visible and ruin the immersive effect of the landscape. They just need to fix these "blank" areas.

Aug 24th 2009 7:12AM Exactly - they've had upto 5 years to experience 1-60 WoW and are now given at least another 6 months to ride around the old zones and do the old quests... but waaaah I wants everything to same forever waaah.

Aug 24th 2009 5:14AM Rather than rewarding the group leader - which is gonna cause problems when the tank isnt the leader - there should be a poll at the end of the instance where you can vote for any group member (except yourself), and link these points to rewards like vanity pets etc.

Being a hunter would probably mean I'd get no points ever (lol)- unless I did a spectacular trap chain that stopped a wipe.. but maybe it'd be an incentive for some to roll a class that has a bit more responsibility in a group than pew pew.

Aug 24th 2009 4:12AM Making the current continent maps available for play after Cataclysm is released is a huge waste of resources just to appease a handful of people that want to hang around in past content thats been freely available to play for the last 5 years. Aint gonna happen - just like Vanilla servers. Move on people.

BlizzCon 2009: How far along is the development of Cataclysm? {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2009 12:32PM You obviously mean getting us to buy something this christmas - but what? There's no way Cata will be ready by then.

Maybe they will do a pre-order like MS has done with Windows 7.

BlizzCon 2009: Initial thoughts on the Hunter changes {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2009 4:05AM I'm sure no Hunters want to turn into Rogues when the XPac is released however every class is limited to what buttons they can press at any moment by either resource, cooldown or whatever. So whating to get off that explosives shot because its on cooldown or because you're waiting for focus to build is the same thing really .. time.

More bag space cos we wont need to carry drinks or ammo. yay.

BlizzCon 2009: Initial thoughts on the Hunter changes {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2009 3:58AM Well you're fortunate - I'm Hunter Miner/Eng and I tried to sell Ammo in the past without much success - so ended up selling Ore & Bars instead - which do sell like hotcakes.

Although I do make ammo for myself and guild.

BlizzCon 2009: Initial thoughts on the Hunter changes {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 3:49PM Why do you think moving to Focus will ONLY be a negative change to the class?

Maybe because you have thousands of mana and 100 focus doesn't seem like much?

Hunters will have to adapt their play style - I agree its gonna be strange and different for a while but it might acutally be better.

BlizzCon 2009: Initial thoughts on the Hunter changes {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 3:45PM Who makes thier money selling ammo? Most people do dailies.

You are taking these changes out of context and trying to apply them now - which isnt gonna work without all the other changes they will make in the Xpac.

..and Hunters with focus does not mean they become rogues. You may as well say
"ohnoes hunters with mana, they'd be just like paladins/warlocks/priests/etc"

welcome to WoW2 - it aint gonna be the WoW you know - it might even be better.
