Rumor: Mr. Freeze and Talia al Ghul to appear in Arkham Asylum 2 {Joystiq}

Apr 20th 2010 2:34PM Sounds like it'll be cooler than the last game.

DC Direct also manufacturing Dragon Age action figures {Joystiq}

Jan 17th 2010 12:47PM I haven't played much of this game, but from what Alistair told me he seems to be an important character, and he's with you even before you meet Morrigan.

Is he really not that special?

'The Inferno' for iPhone shows how to adapt Dante's Inferno {Joystiq}

Dec 29th 2009 5:28PM Dante seems to be popular, but I'd like some Shakespeare games.

The Emotiv Epoc brain controller is supposedly out now ... did you get one? {Joystiq}

Dec 23rd 2009 2:20PM I'd be surprised if anyone actually bought this. $300 could get you a PS3, an Xbox 360, or a Wii, or five new games, or a dozen used ones. If they listened to the market they'd realize that most gamers aren't that enthusiastic about motion control (can you even call it that?) and would rather have controllers in their hands. And even parents who know less about these things will see the price tag and be turned off.

Mass Effect 2 cinematic trailer makes us want to skip Christmas {Joystiq}

Dec 23rd 2009 12:31PM I still have trouble with Martin Sheen voicing that fellow.

Assassin's Creed II DLC was cut from main game due to time constraints {Joystiq}

Dec 22nd 2009 1:24PM Because I'm greedy and everything is about me.

But really, I understand they need to make a living, and that making content takes time and effort, but in my mind it still seems like they were working on it and took it out due to time constraints. It's great that they made the game complete without it, but I'd rather they took the extra months to get this content in there so I didn't have to pay $9 for something I could have had with the rest of the game for no extra cost.

From a business standpoint, what they did makes sense, and they got it out in time for the holidays. But being the cheap customer I am, I'd rather pay as little cash as possible. I'm a patient person; I can wait a few months. But now that they've made it DLC and attached a price, I won't buy it.

I know that a lot of players will, however, and I won't try and argue that they shouldn't.

Dec 22nd 2009 12:36PM So if it was originally supposed to be in the game, shouldn't it be free DLC?

BlizzCon 2009: Blizzard announces cross-server instances {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 5:00PM The idea behind rewarding the party leader is nice, but I can see it backfiring in PUGs. Whenever I pugged there wasn't any hassle about who was leader because it didn't really matter, beyond assigning raid symbols to mobs. Now that the leader supposedly gets rewards for completing the instance I can totally see two people bickering about it and causing one more problem that PUGs don't need. You can argue that if they're bickering then they aren't worth the time and effort, but some people only have a certain amount of time to play and finding more people would take too much time.

Right now it's not enough information to blow a fuse over; I'm just going to keep an eye on it and hope the drama queens don't kill each other for whatever this reward is.

Ezra Chatterton passes away {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 8:01PM This explains that bright star I saw tonight.

Rest in Peace, Ezra. While your life was short, you impacted the lives of millions through your quest, bow, interactions while playing, and, most importantly, your story.

We're all Horde tonight.
