Aug 21st 2010 6:28PM Okay now we need triple specs.....
Aug 16th 2010 2:48PM The humor and the stress relief aspects are really good points.
As for my softball bodies being old and boring I hope they aren't old cause I have a good 15 years on them.
Jul 27th 2010 2:07PM Well I hardly ever win anything....
May 18th 2010 7:39PM This whole argument kind of reminds of the old who would win if Hulk fought Superman question... The answer it depends who's writing it.
In this case it's how you see the fight. Somehow I just see the PvP champs taking down Tyrann. (Even if it means the warrior needs to respec.) I don't think I've ever wiped on Tyrann even pugging. I have wiped a few times on the PvP champs and that's with just three of em. My "logic" was five of them would be tough to beat. Ironically, I have probably wiped on Paltress more than any other boss in the game. Yet I somehow didn't feel right picking her over Tyrann. Yet, I may have picked her over the PvP champs.
It's all just subjective fun.
May 18th 2010 5:11PM BTW, my later comments were made after thinking more about the fight last night. My main point still stands though if a regular group with nowheres near 1 million HP can bring down Tyran then certainly the champs would. (I wish we could edit comments.)
Any ways folks it's been fun!
May 18th 2010 5:06PM I do think this would be a close fight for sure. Maybe the closest fight of the tourney. But the PvP champs to me are built to take on tasks like this. The funny thing is if Paltress beat Tyran I think I would have more tempted to go with her in the finals. Not sure why really... I just have a thing for powerful women I guess...
May 13th 2010 2:15PM That's a good post. And yes players do know how to work around Overlords Brand, but players have the advantage of the internet and reading how other players have dealt with it. I am assuming (perhaps wrongly) that Paltress has no internet access and no previous experience fighting Tryrannus. (Remember we all get to die and try again.) Therefore she has to wing it. She may figure it out (though truthfully she strikes me as more brave than bright) but it will certainly to take it's toll before she does. (Unless of course Paltress uses DBM.... Hmmmm.....)
May 12th 2010 2:47PM Like I said I was torn...
May 12th 2010 1:44PM I also took into account that Tyrannus seems to dense to be affected by Paltress' "charms".
May 12th 2010 12:03PM I have to admit I was torn on this fight. Paltress has been responsible for more wipes for me than any other non later ICC boss. I did treat her ads as a non-factor which could have been a mistake on my part. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Paltress win.
