Nov 12th 2008 11:25AM It's a video game.. there are no morals.
Nov 12th 2008 11:22AM Dude... it's a video game. Ethics DO NOT apply. How many helpless creatures have you killed and stolen from their corpses?
Nov 12th 2008 10:16AM "Oh gee! I would never do ANYTHING that might be _bad_ .^^ Oh yes, I KNEW all those people were bad and stupid and nubs. ^^
All those _bad_ people should be suspended and banned for taking something that was given out for free. ^^ Oh the gear will be useless in 1 day anyway ^^"
Ok we heard enough of these posts already.
First off i already have all the "welfare" gear cuz i earned it at 60 because turning 70 on a PvP server without PvP gear is as good as being naked. PvE gear doesn't get it, except in a instance or raid where you don't have rouges cheap shotting you and hunters blasting you from 40 yards while your tryng to quest. It dosent matter if it stinks for leveling. If your on a PvP server it's a requirement for survival. Being caught without it = Death.
Next point: If you walk into a store and the clerk hands you a pack of cigs and says "go ahead man, no charge!", then you take the smokes and walk out only to be arrested, it's not a crime, it's ENTRAPMENT. That, and there's absolutely no chance Blizz will ban thousands upon thousands of accounts 1 day before WotLC anyway. Don't blame people for rushing to get the gear they need for their toon's survival.
Lastly: your epix (PvP or no) will certainly NOT be useless until you've done quite a bit of questing, exploring, and instance running well into the mid/upper 70s, Blizz has stated this repeatedly. Gear will scale SLOWLY this time, not like the last expansion when everyone's hard earned gear instantly became crap.
Oct 30th 2008 12:22PM Who's "Complaining" ?
Maybe the Uber-Elite "Your gear isn't good enough to shine my armour with, cuz you have a life." guilds that demand you be practically Sunwell geared before you can even stand in as back-up DPS in an off team Kara raid?
Waaaaa Waaaaa Waaaaaa!!! QQ
The non-Elite finally get to run the content without kissing your bums.
Yes, I'm bitter about it lol
Oct 28th 2008 12:21AM Speaking as a healer in PvE it was great. Pally tanks have been by far superior since BC and it made the job even easier.
Speaking as a healer in PvP it was horrible. Stun-5K crit-3K crit - 4K crit-DEAD in a space of 3 seconds is impossible to heal someone through. If that wasn't enough, pallys never seemed to run OOM so they could simply repeat this sequence and mulch the entire BG raid to dust.
All our PvP healers (including me) decided to quit BGs until Blizz fixed this. We look forward to returning now that the class (hopefully) is under control.
Oct 24th 2008 8:25AM LOL! This is "griefing" to some people?? More people need to come out from under that warm comfy blue security blanket called a PvE server and experience toon life on the PvP realms lolz :/
